Martin fully inspected, cleaned and calibrated our burner and chimney this week. As first-time log burner-owners we wanted it done before using it because we didn't know how long it had stood dormant. Martin was thorough, tidy and professional, and we had some insightful discussions about safely using the burner, the best types and places to get wood from, and environmental factors. Martin worked long hours to fix up our, previously rather neglected, wood burning stove and chimney. He identified a number of problems and conscientiously addressed them one by one - cheerful and good natured throughout which is impressive because the job was much more involved than it first looked. He left us safe in the knowledge that our stove and chimney were in tip top condition. Would certainly trust any further work/routine sweeps to Martin's capable hands.
