I’ll also edit any copywriting you may already have but which you feel needs tidying up or polishing. Similarly, if you’ve content that’s been translated into English but needs a thorough check through, then I can do that too. And once the final copy’s laid out on the page I can also proof read it for you, checking for any errors that might have crept in.

Strategic marketing thinking.
And as an experienced marketer, I’m equally happy to work with you to determine: your typical customer persona; your core business values; the most important and unique benefits your product or service offers; your competitive positioning; the vital key messages. How important is writing your advertisement headline? Very. As a rule of thumb, it’s 70% of the effectiveness of your advert. To be persuasive it needs if possible to connect emotionally.

If a reader can’t understand your ad’s proposition within a few seconds, the advertisement has failed. Be it in-print, an on-line banner or pay-per-click (Google Adwords). Your advertisement writing needs to grab attention.

The words of your advert simply must provide useful, relevant information. Persuasive information that will interest the reader and prompt the desired action – now.

These days we’re overloaded with marketing content, so we skim read. Short is good: short words, short sentences, short paragraphs – clear and concise. Let me write your advert.

And if you want me to manage advertisement design and artwork as well as the writing, I can do that too. email rob@marcomwords.com or call Rob on +44(0)1225 426 815. Advert writing examples available on request.

You know that a great brochure, pamphlet, leaflet or flyer remains one of the most useful and powerful marketing tools. Written well, it’ll raise credibility, enhance brand image and support sales.

To be effective, your brochure writing has to grab attention, maintain interest and inspire action. It needs content that’s written from the customer’s viewpoint, answering questions and overcoming objections in the right order.

Turning features into real customer benefits. Balancing information delivery with persuasion. Your brochure writing will be easy and enjoyable to read – engaging from beginning to end.

As your cost effective freelance brochure writer I’ll write the words your brochure needs to succeed. And if you want, I can manage your brochure design and print as well. Email rob@marcomwords.com or call Rob on +44(0)1225 426 815. Brochure writing examples available on request.

Is there any marketing material more effective at communicating your true core competences and credibility than a case study? Any better way to elicit immediate trust? I can write it for you.

A real-world success story, it’ll explain the benefits a valued customer gained from using your product and service, how s/he had a problem and you fixed it. Case study copywriting presents the real ‘proof of the pudding’.

And how versatile is a case study once written? Very! Publish it in the media, showcase it on your website, at an exhibition, include it with a product brochure, send it with a quotation. It’s a valuable weapon in your marketing communication armoury.

Let me be your freelance case study copywriter. I’ll handle it all, interviews with you, your client, first draft, revisions and a final good proof read when it’s all laid out. Get in touch with Rob. Email rob@marcomwords.com or call on +44(0)1225 426 815. Case study writing examples available on request.

Knowing how effective business e-shots and e-newsletters can be, you don’t want to gamble with their writing. Your email subject line, from line, body copy, calls to action, they all need to be written well and working hard. They need to be professional.

Business email subject lines need to optimise open rates, email body copy needs to maximise click-throughs – all in a matter of seconds. Spam-like content needs avoiding at all costs, unsubscribes need minimising. Mobile platforms need factoring in too. Simple?

It can be done. Leave it to me. Your business email writing will be attention-grabbing, highly readable, personal. It’ll be short and sharp as well. I can write it for you. Email rob@marcomwords.com or call Rob on +44(0)1225 426 815.

Your business has a newsworthy announcement to share with the world, so you’re looking for a professional press release writer to write a great press release or online news release for you. Count me in.

To maximise media exposure your release needs to be authoritative, accurate, unambiguous. Your press release writing has to be done well, in a style that’s concise, compelling and objective. It’s got to be formatted correctly too.

For online, your press releases also need to put your SEO keywords (and variations) to best use, in the headline, body copy and anchor text. Search engines, Editors, customers and prospective customers, keep them all happy with your next press release…

Email rob@marcomwords.com or call Rob on 01225 426 815. Press release writing examples available on request.

With more than 80% of us relying on search engines to find the websites we need (among more than a billion sites out there…) SEO content writing is certainly important. Not just for websites though. SEO writing is vital to all the digital ‘touch-points’ you offer customers, including blogs, emails and press releases.

Have a worthy blog or press release published on-line and they’ll get indexed by a search engine, just like a web page. So research and placement of target keywords, keyword-rich links, titles, header tags etc. are all worth attending to.

Not at the expense of content quality and readability though. Your blog remains interesting and useful, your press release objective and newsworthy. Both are a joy to read. It just so happens they’re optimised for search engines too.

And while your promotional emails aren’t (yet…) indexed by Google, even they can benefit from the goodly principles of SEO copywriting. Keywords in subject lines, quality content, alt tags for images… use them all to improve customer engagement.

Leave it to me. Email rob@marcomwords.com or call Rob on 01225 426 815.

When it really helps to clarify what you do, the benefit you bring to customers or how you’re different or better, then a strapline (‘slogan’ or ‘tagline’) is a powerful marketing weapon. I can write it for you.

Understanding your business’s mission in life, its advantages and how it differs, I’ll write a selection of straplines for you to choose from. They’ll be short, memorable, tailored to your business and appealing to your customers.

A few small words that capture the true essence of your company, a strapline that becomes an inseparable part of your brand – if you need one writing just get in touch.

Email rob@marcomwords.com or call Rob on +44 (0)1225 426 815. Strapline examples available on request.

PS And if you also need a new logo, a logo revamp or a complete brand identity perhaps, then I can provide that too. I also manage marketing projects as well.

You’ve a website, web pages or a landing page to write and you’re looking for a website content writer who knows how to engage with customers and search engines at the same time. You want a cost effective website writer who knows about ethical SEO.

Your website copywriting has to talk to your audience in the right language and tone. Visitors scan read, so usability is key. Meaningful headings, supportive sub heads, concise sentences and paragraphs, bullet points and white space – they all play a part.

Your website content writing needs to make effective use of keyphrases to help search engines bring you the right visitors. Subtle keyword variations, synonyms, stemmed words, plurals – they all need to be factored into your website writing. We’re each different after all.

SERPs page titles and meta descriptions, headings, body copy, graphic filenames and alt tags – keyphrase optimised throughout – all the words your website needs in one document. As your website content writer, that’s what I’ll deliver. And if you want, I can manage your website design too.

Email rob@marcomwords.com or call Rob on +44(0)1225 426 815. Website content writing examples available on request.

For enhancing your company’s reputation and authority, boosting website traffic, developing interest and sales, articles are mighty useful things to have in your marketing arsenal. I can help you write them.

You might want an article writing (or rewriting) for a blog, a newsletter or for publishing in a magazine. Wherever it’s going to be read, it’ll need to appeal to your target audience and achieve your communication goals. I’ll make sure of it.

Of course you want people to find it, so it’ll also have to be optimised for search. Your online article writing will include the right keyphrases, in the locations and frequency they’re needed. And without spoiling the article’s quality and integrity either.

Brainstorming, identifying the article’s key points, structuring it, researching and writing it – leave it to me. Articles for blogs, articles for editorial or advertorial pages, email rob@marcomwords.com or call Rob on +44(0)1225 426 815. Article writing examples available on request.
