How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
If there is suitable access from within the property ie through an existing hallway or kitchen to create a larger possible kitchen dinner.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Contact local building control to apply for building regulation notice. Excavate footings where garage door was originally. Site visit from building control to inspect footings reach to pour concrete. Agree on finished floor and ibsyjatuin requirements and any fire regulations applicable.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Suitable headroom of 2.1meters where staircase would be installed to meet building regulations requirements.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Form new opening where staircase is to be installed, install new floor jousts if existing do not meet building regulations 8” x 2” install steel beams where required for structural support. form Ashlar walls and insulation. Install plumbing and electrical services as required depending on loft conversion use. Plasterboard and plaster walls and skilings. Install doors and skirting boards as required. Decorate throughout.

Product guarantees where applicable. 10 year guarantee applicable to internal damp proofing works and 20 year years applicable to damp membrane systems fitted. 10 year guarantee on replacement roofs (complete replacement) length of guarantees offered by manufactures subject to their terras and conditions regarding required maintenance procedure and intervals. 20 years felt roofing guarantee.
