When David visited (on time and with a friendly smile), he did a thorough inspection. I was afraid talking about the situation with David would be too technical but he described and explained everything in down-to-earth terms.
The structural report he provided described the problem so that both me and my builder could understand. David also provided a solution for me to pass straight to the builder meaning I did not have to explain any techincal details to the builder.
Very pleased with how David worked and communicated with me. I recommend him to others.

What do you love most about your job?
Being able to bring my engineering experience to a new project to help and guide clients to achieve a successful outcome.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started as an structural engineer and worked up to Director of Structural Engineering of an inhouse consultancy for national contractor for many years but recently an opportunity arose to start my own consultancy and fulfil a long term desire.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am very familiar with the design and construction industry and the processes involved. I strive to find designs that are respectful of the architectural aspirations of the project, cost effective, buildable and add to the overall success of the project.

I can undertake most design work remotely either via telephone or Zoom if you have architectural plans or are able to provide some basic information via photographs or Facetime .
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I work within the government restrictions and offer virtual meetings. If site visits are necessary, I will liaise with the client so as to maximise social distancing.

Structural reports on building structures required by mortgage lenders or insurers or for other purposes.
Structural Design
Structural drawings and calculations for Building Regulations Approval for alterations, extensions, conversions and new build to residential and commercial properties can be undertaken. If required these can be developed into construction drawings for use by contractors.
