Describe your creative process.
My creative process always starts and ends with client. When I receive a brief, I start by creating mood boards that relate to the client and their business or project; I then go from there to create the first design- sticking to the brief but being as creative as possible .
I then send this first 'prototype' to the client for feedback, responding with an improved design. I am only happy if you are happy- I continue doing what we do best until you receive your perfect design or content.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
All I need from a client is brief that contains the purpose of the design, existing logos/colours/fonts if any and the text to be included, if any.
Yes, that is all I need from a client! However I will work to any brief a client gives us, no level of detail is too much!
What do you love most about your job?
I love to design graphics to make people happy and their business successful.
Whatever the brief is, big or small - I pour all my knowledge and skills into each and every design, taking pride in what I do. I love to do what I do best.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I Arthur Leigh-Wood, the founder of blueWhale Design was inspired to start this business, as I find great pleasure in creating things that will be of use or delight to others. I also find pleasure in creating enticing, good-looking designs that are put to use- in advertising for example.
