I had cancelled my room for Wednesday night as I was expecting to be able to leave Bracknell at 5.30 and head home. As it turn out the meeting I was in went on until 8. I went back to the hotel and they were able to help me at the corporate rate still! Despite being very busy. Only negative, avoid room 422. It's next to the boiler so very hot and very noisy!! We just had a nights stay through Secret Escapes. We had an Executive room which was lovely, very clean. Evening meal was a set 3 course meal with 3 choices on each course, food was delicious. Very good breakfast with plenty of choices. Would recommend and definitely stay again. More...

Couldn't fault the hotel or service we received. Executive room with full English breakfast and 2 X £25 vouchers for evening meal taken in restaurant, bar or next door pub. We decided to eat in the restaurant and the meals were superb. Breakfast was very good too. Really pleased with stay and price we paid, £114 with Secret Escapes. More...

Bedroom good size. Bed too hard. Pillows too hard. Food ok although not quick enough to replenish cooked breakfast option when items ran out. Staff very pleasant. Lovely surrounding fairly quiet location. Pub should offer more specials to vary the main menu when you are staying for a week. Inclusive menu for corporate clients is a bit mean as other hotels offer a drink as part of your meal rate- worse when there was an advertised meal deal for less than my company paid and it included a drink More...

Very smart. I had a problem with water leaking through the light in my bathroom and the manager was called. 3 mins later I was in a bigger room no fuss or messing good food in the bar too

Rooms are very nice, clean and what you would expect from a good hotel. The rest of the hotel is what makes it special - fabulous staff, at reception and in the restaurant who are friendly and happy to help with whatever needs you have, nice pool and small but well-stocked gym and an independent beautician service on site that is open til late in the evening.

Nice hotel. Great breakfast but too expensive, but our deal gave us a free breakfast! Clean room but small bed and the TV would not work.
Old second phone in room should be removed.
Dinner was unavailable due to a private function but we had a good discount for our stay. Shower in the room good but the bath only ran lukewarm. Overall good but room for improvement. Will probably stay again if the price is right.

We stay at the Moat House every Christmas whilst visiting family and always have excellent service and an enjoyable time. We have two small dogs and they are made very welcome . The Poachers pub adjoining the hotel is also very pleasant stocking a number of ales. More...

We had an overnight stay to coincide with my son's wedding on the premises. The overall experience was very good.
My only real criticism was some of the bar prices - I found £1.
85 for a 2/3 full small glass of Coca Cola to be extremely excessive

Great place to stay, I would have given a five but as a hotel it was not right that you could not have a evening meal because there was a party on. Coming from Devon we had no idea where to eat so we went without. More...

Hotel is nice and the rooms are clean. Not the hotel's fault but whoever was sleeping in the room next to me found it acceptable to play a video on repeat for over and hour at 2am. So not the best nights sleep. The hotel is build on stilts as it sits on marsh land which is cool and has had famous guests such as guns n roses, or so my taxi driver said More...

Very nice hotel for what we paid. Lacking atmosphere in dining room and breakfast wasn't worth the money. Rooms comfortable but hotel could do with a refresh x

The hotel is in a great location and easily accessible. We stayed 2 nights as a family of 3 with a 3 year old in a family room. This comprised a double and single bed, ensuite, seating area and desj/dressing table. The room was very spacious and both beds were comfortable, the single was a proper bed not a sofa bed which was great. The rooms were really quiet and it was like being the only people in the hotel. The shower looked like it needed modernising but it was very very powerful and hot when on which was great. The rooms have a bath which is ideal for children. We had the breakfast included and it was delicious and constantly restocked and monitored. All the staff were friendly and great with my daughter. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. More...

Lovely room on 4th floor for me and my family. Pull out sofa bed for kids. Bathroom nice bur extractor not working meaning bathroom was foggy for sometime after. Not enough towels for 4 people. Breakfast very good. Wide range of cooked and continental breakfast. Unfortunately the coffee machine was our of order and orange juice ran out. Staff didn't pick up on it and had to be asked by other guests. Would revisit as got room for a really good rate. More...
