I worked here for 3 months and then I haven't got any shift from continously for 2 weeks .So I decided to resign. When I sent my resignation email nobody responded to me. Also when I was working there many times they haven't responded to my email .They lie to people and I witnessed it many times . They even delayed my p45 and my amount for annual leave.Hesitated to give me reference .I consider it was very rude that they haven't responsed to my emails multiple times . More...

Hi I wudnt recommend anyone who would like to work for this company. The director an owner of the company is so unprofessional an as a appalling attitude an nos very little about quality of care an doesn't respect anyone only himself he says he cares about the clients but hes totally working for profit an himself I went for a interview here an he was so abrupt an very disrespectful to me in my interview. He talks loads of rubbish about personal experiences but hes only interested in the company's growth an doesn't have any relevant experience in the health & social care sector an lacks professionalism if I could rate this company I would give it no stars at all but it wudnt let me wat a awfull experience so disrespectful so glad I didn't get the post as I wudnt want to work for mr archer or is company as he loves himself more than people More...

I’ve worked for Visiting Angels since Feb 18 and l personally am extremely happy to be part of their team. Great employee benefits including extremely fair hourly rate with regular pay increases, my car was recently given a full valet and I won a spa voucher at Tankersley Manor for winning care giver of the month. You are paid whilst completing a comprehensive training programme and office and management are professional yet approachable, they have literally bent over backwards to fit work round me and the hours I am able to do as a single parent, and have promptly dealt with any issues raised. I have a lovely client base that is growing and l regularly receive good feedback from my clients via my manager, who is keen to let me know when I’m doing a good job which is something I think is missing in a lot of work places. As well as 20 days holiday a year, you are paid for travel time between client visits and a generous mileage allowance. There are other perks, such as servicing your vehicle annually and they are constantly monitoring and looking for ways to incentivise staff and show you their appreciation. If you are looking to start a career in or are currently working in the care sector and thinking of changing your employer for one that actually cares about you as much as their clients then I couldn’t give them a higher recommendation. I have worked at VA for several months and i can honestly say it is the best company i have worked for in the care sector. the clients and staff are looked after, if i have a problem i can talk to the manager and the owner and they help, i have even had my car valeted as a thankyou from the owner. never been treated this way before and it is a lovely place to work More...

I have only gave 1 star because you have to.This company is the worst I have ever worked for,the management are unorganized alway missing service user's off rotas and then making you feel guilty to pick up saying there's no one else which could actually be the truest thing they have said as staff are walking out due to managements attitude, they lie constantly they couldn't care less about their staff or service user's. when you apply for another job they try and mess it up with bad untrue references luckily not every manager is as unprofessional as them and see straight through this.Trying to get paid is like trying to learn a goldfish to walk constantly ringing them about wage.whrn ringing them with concerns they never follow up which a lot of things I have witnessed in this company could end up on a safeguarding,I could go on and on but I won't. I love supporting our amazing caregivers to help families across South Yorkshire. I am very proud of the area where I grew up and I love making a difference in my community.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Our family had problems securing reliable care for my nan and I started Visiting Angels to make sure families don't have to suffer like we did. We strive to be different and by valuing our carers we ensure the same person comes each time, which allows our clients to form a real bond with the caregivers.
Why should our clients choose you?
We provide pay and benefits that reward our caregivers and that allows us to employ better carers and most importantly keep better carers. We allow our clients to choose who visits and when they have chosen we try to ensure the same person/people come everytime. Carers do amazing work and we feel that they should earn more than minimum wage. After all they look after the most important people in our lives - family.
