When planning a wedding you need to know that everything is going to go smoothly and with no drama ... well for the most part this was the case.
There were a couple of tiny hiccups when changing staff and system but these were sorted out very quickly. The DJ contacted me a week before to introduce himself and ask if I had any questions and come up to me on the day to let me know he had arrived.
Generally the night was Flawless however I do have 2 points I would like to raise!
1, When he came in he introduced himself by name only, it would have helped me to be to which company he was from as I had 3 different organisations there and I didn't really know who he was ..
2 on the play list I had dedications and he did not do a shout out for any of them the most upsetting was the father daughter dance. My daughter heard the song and came running in but this was not announced in the begining in fact none of the dedications were called out.
However other than the above two points the evening went well and the guests loved the music ... he played my playlist as well as added in a couple of floor filers.
I would hire them again however I would be clearer about instructions

Simon helped our wedding day run as smoothly as possible by being super professional and making us feel at ease with the services he provided. Simon provided us with all our seat covers for our wedding meal which he fitted in the morning, and for the evening he provided giant LOVE illuminated sign which looked amazing next to the dance floor also the Photo Booth which went down a treat and was constantly in use. Thank you your event for making my daughters 18th a occasion she will always remember for years to come, she has quoted her "18th has been the best party ever" Simon and the whole team were absolutely amazing, they gave me lots of ideas and made recommendations the hall was a little shabby and he ensured us that with the right lighting and decorations which he provided the hall would be transformed and he was right it looked amazing. What was so special about the whole team was that they gave us there all, and accommodated all our needs. Luke at Your Event UK was awesome! I initially had another supplier to provide the lighting to my sister's wedding and they let me down the day before the wedding. I rung Your Event UK and they were happy to assist me and get me out of a huge problem, they provided me with all the lighting I needed and were able to supply this with less than 24 hours notice. It was so easy to organise, the payment process was swift and once I had paid there was nothing else I had to do, Luke turned up at the venue, set up all the lights, liaised with the venue and showed the DJ the operation of the lights, then at the end of the night, Luke dismantled and clear all the equipment away! Simon is a great DJ, the atmosphere at our wedding was amazing, everyone loved the music and we ve had a lot of people ask for Simon's details!
The lights and DJ booth looked so good with our wedding decor, really high end and professional!
We will always use Your Event UK for music and entertainment for other family events.
The guest had such a great time using the Photo Booth and props and the photos are hilarious! 100% great guest entertainment!

These guys were amazing for our wedding! Dealt with panicked bride texts the night before the event, torrential rain all over their kit just before the ceremony that they handled like total pros plus last minute changes of plans due to the weather - which included our lovely sound technician having to literally run with heavy speakers across a field! What's great is we didn't have a wedding planner or anything, so they just judged what needed to be changed and when and made it seem like it was always meant to be that way!
