"Your Critter Companions" is a pet sitting and dog walking service that offers Bay Area pet owners a wide variety of pet services including dog walks, cage-less boarding, pet visits, overnight sitting, post-hospitalization check-in visits, medication and fluid administration, as well as pet transportation, hospice and respite care for most types of pets. Established in the Bay Area in 1990 and in continuous operation since that time, we have 20+ years of experience providing outstanding dog walking and pet sitting service for our wonderful animal friends and helping out with their owners with all types of pet service needs.

Our staff are reliable and caring, and are all pet owners themselves -- they will treat your pets as they would their own. Everyone on our staff has been through a detailed vetting process that often takes up to 3 months or more since we believe strongly that our staff should meet not only the client requirements but also our high standards. One result is that everyone on staff is licensed, bonded and insured. This is particularly important since each pet owner needs to be able to put their trust in the sitter or dog walker that is assigned to their pet.

All kinds of pets are welcome with Your Critter Companions -- big, small, young, elderly, hearing-impaired, vision-impaired, calm, energetic, mobility-impaired, you name it...they all are truly your best friend and the most loyal companion you can have, and we will treat them like our own! We will go above and beyond for your pet to make sure they get everything they need. And we can email, call or text you with regular updates for any type of service. Our rates are based on the number and type of pet you need service for, as well as the type and frequency of service needed. We don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach since every pet family is unique. We will happily provide you with a rate quote via phone, just give us a call!

Currently, we can provide service in the following cities: San Jose (north and central), Alamo, Burlingame, Belmont, Danville, Redwood City, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Saratoga, Campbell, Milpitas, Fremont, Newark, Union City, Hayward, Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, Rio Vista, San Leandro and San Lorenzo. We are able to travel to areas outside these cities, based on an additional mileage fee, so please ask if you don't see your city listed!

Our pet visits can be daily, multiple times per day, as well as every other day depending on the type of pet and service needed. We also offer combination services, such as overnight sitting combined with one or more pet visits per day. We will schedule and initial face-to-face meeting so that you and your pet can meet us, before starting the initial service.
