I specialise in helping people suffering from back pain from muscular-skeletal back and neck conditions, osteoporosis, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, spinal disc bulges or herniations, spinal arthritis and mild scoliosis.

Such people are often sleepless, frustrated and tired of trying different solutions to relieve their pain yet still feeling stiff and sore.

What I most like about my job is to help people find wellness through the practice of yoga. Seeing their progress and results are what motivate me to keep doing what I do.

I have been practising yoga for over 15 years and it was only 10 years ago that I started working as a yoga teacher. When I did my yoga training I wasn´t expecting such a transformation in my life that I was thrilled to pass this knowledge on to other people. After working with many students with different backgrounds, today I am dedicated to only help people suffering from back pain. Because I see so many people suffering from it, some for many years, I feel I can help them by teaching simple and gentle movements, relax their stiff and tensioned muscles, to breathe correctly so they can have some relief and again have the control of their lives.

I work one-on-one with people so I can tailor the practice to their needs. I will meet them exactly where they are at, respecting their body limits and backgrounds. I believe each back pain has different causes, so by privately working with them I will know exactly how to tackle their issues.

Services

Most of the cases, back pain will get better on its own no matter what therapy they choose. However, there are cases that acute pain becomes chronic and this can ruin their lives.

They can't move, sit or sleep comfortably. They are restless most of the time and exhausted of trying ways to find relief.

Many studies have shown that being active is the best remedy for the spine's health. But most people fear of moving as they are afraid of making things worse.

That's why I created this tailored yoga session dedicated to relieve back pain.

The steps to take this session are:
1. Assessment - so I can know exactly what their issues are.
2. Online an hour session where I will teach simple and gentle movements and breathing techniques.
3. The student will receive the recording of the session so they can keep doing throughout the week.
4. Follow-up after 2 weeks.

The classes are done online so no matter where you are at we can connect.
