Great venue, excellent food and very friendly staff. Accommodation is pretty good although could be improved i.e. Air conditioning/fan for these warm nights and hooks so you are able to hang your towels would be welcome. Breakfast was excellent, my only criticism being I prefer food to be a little hotter when it first arrives. I would definitely recommend the place for any event, especially weddings and parties. We attending a wedding reception at this venue and really enjoyed our time here. The venue is beautiful with high beams and excellent lighting, and really easy to get to from both the A13 and A127.

The venue is not very well signposted so might be hard to find as felt a bit remote however if you use Google Maps as a sat nav it will give you 3 route options that will get you there. We attended a wedding reception and the venue was very pleasant. The evening buffet food was simple but tasty and still warm so I assume freshly cooked. There were a couple of quieter bar areas and the main hall which is light and airy. There was a fairly large car park but you need to wait for the ramp to lower before entry. More...

Attended a wedding, nice venue, 1 medium sized bar area, 1 small bar area. Nice sized function room. Friendly staff, drinks are expensive, food was nicely cooked. Didn't stay overnight

Had my daughter's wedding here. What a fantastic day. Staff very helpful and couldn't have done enough to make my daughter's day perfect.
The grounds are beautiful and which made for gorgeous wedding photos.
The food was really enjoyable had no complaints.
A great day and night had by all.

Attended a wedding, absolutely lovely grounds and main room. Bar prices are a bit steep, pint of draught beer and a vodka lemonade was £10. 75. The bedrooms are ok.. a bit tired.. the curtains are an inch too short, so with the lights outside the window, the room is lit up all night. Breakfast was good, fresh juice, pot of tea for 2 and a full English. Great wedding venue overall. More...

We attended the evening of a family wedding on Friday 7th July 2017. The venue itself is set in beautiful grounds and we'll presented. The food served was really lovely. (Cold and hot buffet) The bar staff weren't particularly friendly however and when it came to kick out time locked the doors leaving some party members on one side and others still in the bar trying to get out! Following this when the main area closed we were fairly efficiently"kicked out" despite the fact that most remaining guests were staying at the venue! It was a very sudden end to the evening!!
