Had my son do the free class and I was impressed with how this gym operates. Lots of attention to develope the kids because there's so many black belts walking around and it's not watered down like at an American tkd gym. This place is very affordable too, not shelling out hundreds of dollars monthly like other places. In the rise of MMA, TMA has been shown for the fraud it has become but not this place. We will be signing up when my son's schedule frees up from his other sports. More...

The Masters and Instructors at JYS were passionate about taekwondo, fun, and engaging. We were especially grateful that they pushed our son to do his best at every class. We loved the way they included cardio exercises, Korean words and traditions and success in school as part of their whole experience. Taekwondo is an excellent way to get exercise, meet new friends and learn discipline. We are happy our son loves JYS and the sport More...

Here is a perfect example of how special this particular Dojo is; today Captain Cyril picked up Giorgio today to train, some couldn’t make it. But that doesn’t keep them from going forward. So Giorgio and Captain worked on back flips and routine. It’s such a cool family team. The mentorship of the Masters, instructors and team is astonishing to me any husband. It’s truly a family. My children have been coming here for years now, and one is already a black belt and has been working here as a teacher recently. Master Suk is always friendly and willing to help as are all the other instructors. They offer other programs as well besides the classes for different levels. They go out and do performances for various communities and participate in events all over. They always ask how my child is doing and if there are any improvements we want child to work on or has made. There is always constant feedback and concern about the affect of the class on the students quality of life. It's a nice location right next door to Baskin Robbins. Prices are reasonable and they are always willing to work with you. More...

Our 5 year old son Started here in October. We couldn't be happier with them. The Masters and instructors are so patient and kind to these kids. It's a little pricey but I think it's worth it because it's been an incredible experience. We are considering putting our 3 year old in also. More...

I have been taking my 2 boys here for the last 1.5 years and wanted to finally write a review. This was our first experience with TKD and we are happy to have discovered them. I believe they excel at working with young kids (my boys were 5 and 6 when they started). They have patience and develop a routine that kids will enjoy. They make the class fun yet teaches them discipline, respect, and good character. From the Masters (Park and Suk) to the other Instructors (Eric, Terrence, etc.), they all demonstrate the true spirit of TKD. They show that they actually care about teaching them, rather than just collecting money and advancing them through the ranks. They also have special events like Parents Night Out and Family Night to really emphasize that they care.We also enjoy watching the demo team preform at Market night. Not only do they teach, but they are always out in the community demonstrating their craft.I would highly recommend this TKD center to anyone with kids that want to learn about the sport. More...

Great studio! Master Suk is very instrumental in teaching not only the techniques, but also the philosophy and culture of the art. Much more than just Taekwondo.
