Wirral & Chester Taekwondo is a network of Taekwondo clubs in and around Wirral & Chester, that are affiliated to the TAGB (Taekwondo Association of Great Britain) and the BTC (British Taekwondo Council). We currently hold over 50 classes per week that students can attend and we cater for all ages and abilities.

An outstanding place to train - purpose-built and fully equipped for this busy club. Everyone supports each other and you have the opportunity to train 7 days a week which makes it so much easier when you are juggling work and kids. My son has been going to mini Ninjas for about 18 months, he enjoys everything about it. The teachers are brilliant and very patient with the children. My 3+ year old grandson absolutely loves going.I cannot rate them highly enough.Master Saunders and his team who train the tots are brilliant with them,teaching them skills for life. At first my little man was a bit of a free spirit and did his own thing but he was soon taught to concentrate on what he was supposed to do and is now alot better at joining in and loves the classes.The tots quickly gain their belts if they attend regularly and thats a great incentive to go on and achieve more.If you are thinking of going please go and check it out you wont be disappointed. I've been involved with Wirral & Chester Taekwondo for 6 years now after my son started training at the age of 4.I can't recommend this academy highly enough, he started out as a shy child refusing to go on the mat for more than a minute or two, the instructors and students really go our of their way to encourage students and build their confidence. As a result my son gained his black belt aged 8 years old!!Not only that, he took me along one night. I just went really to encourage him to train but loved it and I gained my black belt too at the tender age of 39!!If your thinking you cant do it or your too old......it really is a club for everyone of all ages. I watched my son from the edge for 2 years before taking the plunge myself. He beat me to black belt at the age of 8yrs, I followed a year later gaining my black belt aged 39yrs! !!
