Very friendly and good food quality. Rooms clean and well appointed but somewhat small with firm mattress and pillows. Beautiful location and good value for money.

Booked 3 nights to visit our relatives. Booked a twin room for our 11 year olds and double room for myself and spouse. Clean rooms, fresh sheets, inroom coffee/tea, tv and toiletries.
Room were cosy. Rooms were promptly made daily.
We arrived late, about 9pm, I think last order was 8pm. They were very accomodating and served us hot meals. We had lasagne, fish n chips n sea bream in white sauce with potatoes. We tried their Sunday roast lunch with beef and was delicious. Desserts were served with generous portion as well.
Dog friendly, we had our little yorkshire terrier for the trip. A couple we met brought along their labradoodle.
As the hotel/inn was at the top of hill, we have lovely view of the hills in our surrounding area. It was snowing on the 2nd n 3rd day so we were surrounded by a blanket of white and looks lovely.
Parking lot available and staff were very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay very much and will be back soon in the summer

Went as a guest of a party. Never been to windy harbour before but it was lovely. Nice and clean. Lovely views as right at the top of glossop and away from the town. Food was great and lots of choice for drinks. Dancefloor was small but met the parties needs. All the staff were very accommodating and great with the kids who were there. Recommended More...

Fabulous place and fabulous food and staff. There was a family celebration while we were there. The children were screaming and running about encouraged by one of the adults who was turning the chairs upside down! The staff handled the situation very well but it didn't make our visit pleasant. We finished our meal quickly. What a shame because it is one of the best places around. More...
