What’s your interior design process?
An initial meeting with the client to firstly ascertain what particular service is required. Often projects start as something small but always tend to end up being bigger and more comprehensive than first envisaged so a detailed job description is important from the outset. I like to get to know my clients on a more personal basis so that I can really get to know what they want for their home, their likes and dislikes not only in interiors but also in every day life - this always reflects in the overall process and helps to work towards the final look and feel of the space. Is my client passionate about the outdoors and nature or are they more inclined to prefer city living, do they like cosy and warm or more minimalist and contemporary, do they like old things or new things or a combination of both? All of these things are taken into consideration at the outset.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
All styles; Contemporary, minimalist, French, Country, Boho, Shabby Chic, Modern, Scandinavian, Traditional, Transitional, Industrial, Bohemian, Rustic and of course, a mixture of the above.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to use my creativity and passion for colour and beauty to create homes for my clients that are timeless and personal to them. Getting to know my clients on a personal basis, understanding their likes and gripes and supporting them to help in the design process. Their input is as important as mine and I love encouraging them to use their creativity also, even and especially when they get the opportunity to explore it when they thought that they had none at all.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been passionate about design and creativity. Starting my career as a chef - creating beautiful menus and presenting colourful and unique plates of food, whilst involving my art as a marble sculptor on the side and renovating and decorating country houses I wanted a more interactive career. I love meeting new people and my altruistic nature has always benefited me in encouraging people on a journey of self discovery. My mother was an interior designer so it has been a lifelong passion, and after doing a course to learn the professional side of the design process, I got my first clients through word of mouth through friends and family having seen homes I have created for myself and friends alike.

I am a people person, passionate about what I do and helping you to create your dream home. I am always at the end of the phone to discuss everything and anything and encourage my clients to be as involved as much or as little as they choose. Ultimately I get to know you as a person rather than a client and together work through the design process ensuring your home is everything and more than you ever thought it could be. Attention to detail is my forte, down to the smallest of things. It's the little things in life that make the biggest impact.
