wildHowl designed my logo, t-shirt and vehicle branding. I am really happy with the work and have gained lots of business from having my car branded.
Describe your creative process.
I like to talk or skype with my clients ( if possible ), as this is the more efficient way to get information about what they want to achieve from the design project. Then depending on the scope of work and the deadline, I will usually make a draft of the design and then work with the client to make any changes.
In terms of creative inspiration, I am always inspired by the businesses my clients are in, the products they are making and services they are offering usually give me lots of ideas for what the final design will look like.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Any branding /logos/ design guidelines they have in place already
Any copywritting / text that they wish to include. ( I can use dummy text if necessary, but it is usually more efficient to have everything in one go)
Timescales for the project - when do they need it by.
What do you love most about your job?
I love it when I make a really great design, but what I love most about my job is the clients! Through working freelance I have met so many inspiring people across all sorts of industries.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I went freelance when I returned to the UK from Dubai, working for myself allows me to work with clients all over the world and gives me more flexibly to take of a larger variety of design jobs
