My Pond of some 20 years, needed re-lining due to leakage. This entailed catching all the fish and wild life, and extricating some of the plants too. It was a difficult job, but excellently done by Westcountry Ponds. Their sensitivity when catching all my fish was outstanding. The finish of the Pond, blending in the old concrete/stones, with the new, & re-instating the waterfall was all incredibly artistic, and carefully undertaken !! We were absolutely delighted with the work Peter and Joe did on our fish pond. The fish, and frogs, were carefully placed into a holding tank whilst Peter and Joe carried out the work on the liner, pump & filter and planting. And what a first-rate job they did! They re-lined the waterfall and re-designed it to look stunning. Our existing lilies and irises which were overgrown were tidied and re-potted. The lining was thoroughly cleaned and repaired as necessary. We were given clear advice about fish, plant and pond care, with some ideas about how we might improve things, if we wish, in the future. They took all rubbish away and left everything looking wonderful - the pond water has never looked so clear. I have no hesitation in recommending Westcountry Ponds. We had two large, rather overgrown and neglected ponds. Peter and his assistant transformed them from a mass of weeds and mud into clear water and surrounding land. We were really impressed by their knowledge, hard work and good humour in inclement weather. We look forward to welcoming them back for planting in the Spring. More...
