West Lodge Park is a beautiful country retreat. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The efficient and friendly service and attention to detail was amazing and the dinner we had was just superb.
Our room was clean, extremely comfortable and had views from two aspects over the beautiful gardens and arboretum.
We chose West Lodge Park to celebrate my husband's birthday and we were not disappointed with any aspect of our stay. In fact, everything exceeded our expectations.
Andrew Beale himself could not have been more accommodating and helped to make our stay one which we will cherish and remember for years to come. We thoroughly recommend this beautiful, family run hotel.

The building was old in design but clean. Staff were very helpful but not over bearing. I was in party of ten and the rooms are varied with some smaller than others and the rooms only have side lights and no main light which may be an issue for some. The set menu was limited in choice but the quality of food was excellent. The kids bemoaned the lack of breakfast muffins but I had fresh figs so I wasn't complaining. The hotel is set in large grounds so it was nice a quiet. Over all I recommend this hotel. More...

Very elegant surroundings. The grounds are well kept. We went to the restaurant for afternoon lunch only. Did not stay at the hotel so cannot comment on it. The food was very good. The staff very friendly although the service was a little hap hazard. Staff bumping into each other and serving dishes before the table had been cleared. Other than that it was a very good afternoon listening to a live piano player while enjoying good food and good company. Would definitely come again. More...
