We were recommended to approach Paul McMath by a friend when I told her that our current “broker” was failing to secure us a mortgage that he had already given us in principal.
We were using a broker under the company of Sequence which we obtained through the local estate agents that we were purchasing our house through. Bad choice to say the least. Any how , what that mortgage broker failed to do in around a 4 week period , Paul and his team managed in just over half a day.
Paul and I had a telephone conversation around lunch time, then by 530 pm that same day we were in his office exchanging all the paperwork that he required from us.
Paul was very professional and honest in his approach to applying for the mortgage for us.
Baring in mind we had already been told by the Sequences broker that we could not secure a high street mortgage (we paid him £600 - non refundable) to tell us that. We were offered an unrealistic monthly repayment and an unfair interest rate.
Paul was very confident that he could get us a Mortgage with a high street lender, and at an exclusive rate, and he had every right to be confident as shortly after our first meeting, we were offered a mortgage from NatWest @ 2.16% fixed , with cashback !
We literally couldn’t believe it. The nightmare we had faced with sequence and the prospect of not being able to buy our dream home had all disappeared thanks to an experienced and trustworthy professional - Paul.
Not to forget his team that also supported us , Matthew and Ethan behind the scenes as important. Matthew especially as we dealt with him mostly was very attentive with communication and correspondence.
Prosper put together a great little pack for our benefit with all relevant information in relation to our mortgage , plus the option to obtain house and life insurance which they even go to the trouble of quoting on your behalf....

Paul has been supportive and patient with us as we were nervous initially considering we had lost a large amount of money with no benefit to us whatsoever. However, Paul was very supportive , and reassuring so much so that he is willing to support our case to try and get our money back from sequence- through no benefit of himself.

We would highly recommend using Prosper homes as a mortgage broker, the team did amazing with our case in such a short period of time. They were experienced in dealing with the use of “forces help to buy” which made the process easier for us, Paul took the time to go through ways in which we would be able to increase our credit score for future reference and when our fantastic fixed rate is over in 5 years we will be returning to Prosper again and again for all our mortgage needs.

We have now completed and received the keys to our property yesterday with a huge thanks and much gratitude to the Paul and the Team at Prosper Homes . More...

The help and support given by Paul and the team at Prosper Home Loans throughout our mortgage application has been invaluable. They have made what could of been quite a daunting process for a first time buyer stress free and easy, by giving us simple instructions to follow and always being there to answer our questions or concerns anytime of day.
