What do you love most about your job?
The opportunities it provides to be of help to others. If that sounds a little twee or cheesy, then it helps to understand that in the past I have had to come to terms with my own personal issues and overcome them. When you know what it feels like to struggle, you also know the value of talking to someone who understands you from their own personal experience.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was spending too long in the office and not spending time with my family. When I eventually did get home, I was too tired to fully interact with my loved ones. Being my own boss has enabled me to work at my own pace and devote more of my time to study and research to enhance my skills and knowledge.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm easy to talk to to. I don't judge and I'm a good listener. I use plain English and a common-sense approach to solving problems. My training covered a very wide range of therapeutic styles and theoretical approaches, so I can tailor the counselling experience to individual needs and preferences.
