When I need a lift session I go here! Legit strength training with a trainer that isn't on their cell phone the whole hour I'm paying for! When form is often over looked Andy never lets that part waiver in the workout! More...

Andy is awesome! He's very well versed in nutrition, recovery and alternate workouts to aid with individuals that have past/present injuries. With that being said, I have seen my 'keg' transform to a '6pack' in the span of only a few months and enjoyed every moment of it. The workouts are challenging, but fun. The class groups are on the smaller side, so he has time to give assistance and tips on how to improve your motions and gain the most from your workout. Just off highway 73 behind the John Wayne Airport, the facility is near both the 405 and 55 freeways. Parking isn't normally an issue either. If you read this, thanks very much for the help Andy and Union Strength!!! More...

I do a variety of workouts (spin, yoga, Pilates, barre class) and have had a few different personal trainers. With that being said, I have rarely seen results as quickly as I have after just a few sessions with Andy. He is very knowledgeable, approachable, patient, flexible and personable. He is constantly changing the routine up to keep your workout fresh and give you a well-rounded experience. He manages to make it fun and the hour really does move quickly but by no means is easy. I know I am going to work really hard but I do look forward to my sessions with Andy. I feel stronger each time. He explains the logic behind various exercises to give you a better understanding and is happy to answer questions about nutrition also. He knows when to push you a little more and when to offer a word of encouragement. If you are looking for a goal centric workout or just increasing overall fitness, I highly recommend working with Andy. More...

I've been training with Andy for quite a while now. I've always dealt with lower back pain and just tried to push through it while working out. Andy has taught me ways to strengthen my back and takes the time to correct my form and encourages me to size up. He isn't your typical trainer - he's BETTER. He is so knowledgeable on all things health related and is always answering my questions from healthy food down to what type of shoes will give me the best support. I always finish my workouts feeling accomplished and proud of my progress and I owe a large part of that to Andy. I highly recommend giving him a try, I promise it is going to change your life for the better! More...

I love love love this facility and Andy!  It's close to every main freeway in OC, parking is convenient and the gym is super intimate. ..aka no D-bags grunting all over the place. I prefer Andy's style of training. I actually own a gym down the road so NOT getting injured or pulling a muscle is always my top on my priority list! He really focuses on form first and foremost which I need and and really appreciate the positive words behind the correction. 3 things you can always expect from Andy: 1. A solid ass kicking every time 2. Positive reinforcement as well as correction 3. Genuine caring about your fitness journey and helping you get thereIf you are looking to start a fitness plan or improve on what you already do (that was my case) then I highly recommend Bad Andy Fitness!!!! Andy is truly a delight - best trainer in Orange County!  If you want results, train with Bad Andy Fitness!!  He honestly encapsulates the meaning of "beast mode. "  He pushes you beyond what you think your max is & always with a smile!  He's not pushy and really cares for his clients.  Safety is his number one priority, and he's always watching for proper form and technique.  He's constantly educating his clients on proper nutrition and has routine checkups to make sure that everyone's on track. Before I started training with Andy, I could barely hold (okay couldn't hold at all) a 30 second plank & running was a torturous endeavor.  I was always lost in the gym and never knew what to do.  I'd tried everything from bootcamp, barre to yoga, etc.  and nothing was working.  Six months after working out with Andy, I was able to plank for 5 & ran the OC half marathon, not to mention lost 10 lb.  All of this was thanks to Andy - oh kale yeah! I can't believe I'm reviewing a personal trainer. Most of them come across as arrogant narcissists who strut around clapping their hands together like some swole Anthony Robbins hopped up on 4 servings of pre-workout. Then they make you do things that you KNOW they never do, like squatting on a rubber ball while you stretch rubber bands above your head. Oh you might have hired them to help you look awesome in a swimsuit, but all they're going to do is make you look like Richard Simmons with autism. You want nutrition advice, those guys will gladly recite whatever Weider's marketing team published last month. It's a field infested with jacked Frat Boys. But Andy is different - way different. Sure, he looks like an armored car in human form, but his approach to training is nothing like most of his colleagues. Most of those other guys act like you belong to them. They tell you what to do and you do it. And if you aren't doing it right, they morph into a coked up cheerleader or an angry Drill Instructor. Instead, Andy spends some time finding out what YOU want, what YOUR goals are, and then he teaches you how and why to do certain things to achieve those goals.Andy is extremely knowledgable in all areas of fitness and nutrition. So when you ask him a question, you get back a clear, concise answer. And if you're like me, you go home and Google it to see that he's right on. He's a total professional, as well. After training with him for a bit, I advised my wife to train with him also. Believe me, I wouldn't let her go near most trainers unless she was wrapped in latex and armed with a stun gun.  Andy trained us both according to our goals, answered a ton of questions, and always made himself available by email or phone if we had any questions outside of our scheduled time. Best of all, he seemed to enjoy responding to such inquiries. He never seemed bothered or inconvenienced by a phone call on his off hours. In the gym, Andy doesn't waste any time. You schedule an hour, you get 60 solid minutes of his undivided attention. He's not checking out the MILF in the yoga pants as she does toe touches like some of the other slime balls. He's training you. He's coaching you. And he's teaching you things that you'll use as long as you train. On top of all of this, Andy is one hell of a nice guy. And that's important, because you're going to spend hours with him each week. If I had to spend three hours a week with a typical trainer, I'm pretty sure I'd eventually drop a barbell on my throat during the bench press just to get away.I can only give him 5 stars here, which is a shame. Andy is really on another level in the field of personal training. More...

This guy is the best personal trainer I've been to. Not only does he know his stuff but unlike a lot of trainers out there he isn't one of those in your face, yelling at you trying to brake you down types. Andy will work with you. Not many trainers I know will actually take time out of his own personal time to help me and answer any questions I have. So far training with him I've lost twenty pounds and he continues to motivate me every session! More...
