What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The secret is very simple.Know your crowd .Start your show from the minute you switch on your system. Don't wait for them to decide when they feel like dancing decide for them by building the mood ,the atmosphere and gradually building the night until they cant help but dance .
Try to take all requests you can to get a picture of their tastes but always remember that some peoples taste have the ability to completely kill the evening so place the song in the right part of the night.Watch the crowd and move through styles beats and eras throughout the night and dont dwell on one type of music too long.Above all keep up the pace and energy from start to finish
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My style is that of a chameleon .I love any kind of music and can adapt my music to any crowd at all.From an 18th birthday party to a wedding to a 50th birthday or the latest club house or r&b .I will judge a crowd and hit the nail on the head regardless of their tastes.
If you want dance anthems mixed beat to beat,no problem. 80s cheese 60s soul and motown ,britpop,R&B,boybands ,Top 40 charts.I play everything.
Im a personality jock ,I can use the mic to entertain the crowd but if you dont want me to thats fine also.You can totally choose your entire playlist if you wish.You are the boss.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to see a dance floor full .My greatest pleasure is seeing people having fun and putting a smile on their faces.Being able to judge their tastes and giving them a night to remember.
