Recent work I advised on a large scale restructuring exercise involving multiple employees across a number of departments. This included advising on: strategy; new structure; role changes and job descriptions; collective consultation of employees; timetabling and implementation; dismissals; and documentation. No claims were either threatened or taken against the client. I successfully defended a claim for unfair dismissal relating to an alleged service provision change under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006. I advised on the successful removal of a long standing under-performing board director for a market leading company. I successfully negotiated a substantial settlement of a dismissed employee against one the largest global brands in the world. Client testimonials ‘We/I have worked with Marc Jones since 2009 and have always found that he quickly gets to the core of the problem and provides sound solutions or options. His extremely prompt advice is thorough, helpful and explained in layman’s terms when needed. We have found the seminars on employment law run by Marc and his team to be both practical and enlightening and a very beneficial bonus to us as a Turbervilles client, as are the regular newsletters. I would thoroughly recommend Marc Jones and Turbervilles to any SME needing guidance through the complex mine field of employment legislation.’ Nikki Evans, HR Manager AIT Limited ‘My experience with Turbervilles has been on two different areas. The first is their informative and easy to understand seminars and materials one area of which are the newsletters which enables the delivery of the important case law or changes in legislation in a practical way. The second is in the use of their legal expertise through Marc Jones (at Turbervilles) who always provides constructive advice whilst aware of business timelines and potential constraints. I would highly recommend them.’ Alison Peck, UK & Ireland Human Resources Executive Future Electronics Limited ‘I instructed Marc Jones in December 2013. Marc was very professional in his manner and the advice given was very good. Marc was very thorough and clear when explaining any process or procedure and kept me in the loop all through the process. I was successful and have to say that Marc made this possible. I would highly recommend Marc Jones and would use his services again in the future.’ A Ahmed ‘The training was professionally delivered but was delivered in clear (non-legal), easily understandable sections.
