Very popular place! Cakes looked lovely but I managed to resist! The coffee was excellent.

We discovered this little gem after a walk in the hills last Saturday. My wife and I shared a yummy sausage roll and a cheese scone which were washed down with a couple of wonderful mugs of hot chocolate. What's not to like! This place was an instant hit with us both and we decided that we had to return for our evening meal as well! To our huge disappointment, they were booked up for dinner but the lovely Laura (or was it Lauren?) managed to squeeze us in later on in the evening. We had the most wonderful time, the ambience was perfect and the food was to die for. I am slightly embarrassed to say that we went back for lunch the next day as well!

Been in twice at lunch time. Nice atmosphere, bit stingy on food portions. Tea for two didn't manage to get two cups each and had to ask for extra water. Sandwich was nice but as it was a round loaf of sourdough I had a very piddling sandwich cut from the small end at nearly £5 with a few undressed salad leaves. Thought it was very over priced. Gets busy and is popular locally.

I don't think the three hares even needs my 5 star review! Get yourself there it speaks for itself. Wonderful atmosphere and the food is out of this world tasty, always incredibly fresh. The smell of home baking fills the air. A special wee spot :D

We had a short stop in this beautiful cafe, very cosy and welcoming. The hot food was , delicious sausage rolls and the Coffee cake is to die for xxx. Apparently the frangipane is scrummy too. Well worth a diversion!

Superb service. Children and dogs more than welcome. Staff can’t do enough to help. We wanted some beans for our daughter and they nipped out and got some from the local shop! Even better, they had an excellent range of local beers on tap and in the fridge!
