Nice little Cafe, really good cup of tea.
This is an incredible little find. The hub of the community with people popping in for coffee, food and even freshly made bread. I would highly recommend!
Follicularly challenged? Three Hates Cafe sounds like the place to go. Homely cafe with added books. Well behaved dog was welcomed too.
Lovely staff, perfect food all home baked.Well priced, I would highly recommend.
Basic snacks but reasonable prices. Loved the sausage rolls. Polite and friendly staff.
Delicious cheese scone and my favourite tea. Cosy and welcoming.

Lovely food, pity its not bigger as so popular xx
A wonderful cafe; we had salad if the day with mackerel- lovely, and they happily added horseradish as it was there for the sandwiches. Decaff coffee is excellent and check out the cakes! Quirky little building with lots of hare pictures in town full of book shops. More...

A gem in Sedbergh. Beautiful food, made and served by friendly, efficient staff. I wish we could've stayed for dinner/lunch. A fabulous ethos.
Lovely cakes and coffee ☕
Sublime to say the least ! From pastries to soups the cafe pretty unique, all freshly made and a fantastic menu, highly recommended
Had a cheese roll and ham roll, home made scone, home made baked cheesecake and pot of tea for 2. Just over £19. Was worth every penny. The cheese I think is probably from Hawes? Tasted too good to supermarket cheese. Ham was proper home cooked ham. Rolls home made. Cafe is quaint and had an old fashioned feel to it. Plenty of choice in teas and coffee. Staff are very friendly. An asset to the village. I'd visit again and again More...

Lovely home made cafe food. Top quality and friendly service.
I enjoyed the meal having eaten there twice before it is perhaps a little small for the amount of people that come to eat in the summer

Great cakes, cheese scones and sausage rolls good too. Had my first oat milk latte there.
lovely cafe great service and the food was good .

Cute local cafe with proper food and coffee
Stopped here for breakfast and had a sausage sarnie. Staff were welcoming, service was quick, the bread was fresh and tasty and the sausage suitably seasoned for my palette. With a cup of Americano coffee it went down a treat. Suitably impressed we went back for cups of tea (English and Earl Grey) and each of us enjoyed them because they use leaf tea in pots. More...
Very Good service and food
Great breakfast , nice coffee .
Great atmosphere and home made food. Sugar free hot chocolate. Love it!

Home baking at it's best. The only downside is having to choose which cake to eat. Oh well, we'll have to go back then.

We discovered this little gem after a walk in the hills last Saturday. My wife and I shared a yummy sausage roll and a cheese scone which were washed down with a couple of wonderful mugs of hot chocolate. What's not to like! This place was an instant hit with us both and we decided that we had to return for our evening meal as well! To our huge disappointment, they were booked up for dinner but the lovely Laura (or was it Lauren?) managed to squeeze us in later on in the evening. We had the most wonderful time, the ambience was perfect and the food was to die for. I am slightly embarrassed to say that we went back for lunch the next day as well! More...

This was a fantastic gem of a place discovered whilst on holiday in the area. Initially passing through the village and had some coffee and cakes to take away which were absolutely gorgeous. So went back the next day to have a proper look around Sedburgh and have a meal and was fantastic, The menu changes depending on seasonal supply, the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. The food itself was incredible and the coffee was one of the best i've had :). all in all can't recommend this place highly enough. More...
A wonderful, friendly girl served us and was simply a delight to chat to. We enjoyed their superb baking and came away with pork pies and sausage rolls. Bear in mind we only popped in for a cup of tea lol. Can't wait to go back. Thank you again for your hospitality x. Jo and Alex x More...
Full disclosure: I'm a resident of Sedbergh. The Threehares has fantastic food and service I can't praise it enough. The food is fresh, original & reasonably priced. The coffee is excellent too! Worth visiting Sedbergh just to come here and eat. Did I also mention the wonderful beer menu? More...
A beutiful cafe on Sedbergh's high street, specialising in baked foods (pasties & bread etc). All the food is freshly baked there or bought from local suppliers. All the food, both savouries and sweetes, are made to the best quality you'd expect, for a pretty reasonable price. There is some seating inside, but not much, and it does get very busy around lunchtime. The service there is pretty good too, with two people usually at the counter, although it can be a little slow. The staff are very friendly though. One minor thing it that space constraints mean it can get fairly busy, as I've said, especially around lunchtime, so queueing even just for a take-out can be a bit of an issue. Food-wise though, it's utterly fantastic. More...
