Thomas Cleaning has been established over 26 years
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
We always bring our own equipment, if you have a special request we will endeavour to respect that and accommodate your requirements wherever possible. We are also happy to use your products, especially if you have allergies etc. that require this consideration.
What do you love most about your job?
The thing I like most about my job is taking the time to find out what exactly the service that is required and then making sure we deliver it. There is no better feeling than when, job done, the customer is delighted and wants us to return again and again.
The compliments and the WOW responses are always great to receive.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been in the cleaning business over 25 years, and for most of that time I worked in hotels from 3 star Holiday Inns to 5 star luxury Boutique Apartments/leisure centres in Norfolk.
Having achieved great recognition and awards at my current hotel, my eye for detail and passion was well respected and appreciated by my company, I was asked if I would share my knowledge with other hotels within the company. I was flattered to be asked and it was at a time in my life when I thought change was a good thing, (I had lost my Mother, Brother and partner of 25 years). In reality it was not the career change I envisaged. I started to feel less than able and what had started out as great new experiences, travelling around the country, soon turned into fighting other peoples fires, being reactive instead pro active. So after months of not knowing where I would be going next and for how long, my best friend made it possible for me to see there were other options. He made me strong enough to take the step and last quarter of 2017 I handed in my notice and bought the Thomas Cleaning Franchise.... I am delighted with my choice, it is hard work but enjoyable. Already I have met some amazing people and am establishing a great customer base.
