Stayed in the suite as we were attending Lytham Festival staff were very attentive room was amazing. Breakfast and service service here is fantastic cant wait to find an excuse to stay again

Just had an overnight stay Feb 7th lovely hotel very clean. Bedrooms spacious and bathroom lovely with both shower and bath. Ate in the lounge bar food was good and plentiful. How nice also to sit down and have your breakfast served to you lovely English breakfast. Would recommend to anyone.9/10 More...

Myself and Rob got married here on June 8th and it was such a fantastic day ! Kathryn our wedding co-ordinator was brilliant from start to finish ! We would like to say a great big thank you for a most lovely afternoon tea. The sandwiches were nice and fresh. The home made strawberry jam was excellent. I cannot fault the staff, they were all so polite and friendly. They even brought a bowl of water out for our dog.

I loved this place. I put a request in to have a wee note saying happy anniversary to my bf.. and walked in to a lovely handmade note with rose petals on bed. It was great. Lovely place. I stayed here recently and my door handle fell off locking us in. The attitude of the lady on reception in the morning was nothing short of shocking. Her obnoxious demeanor to a Health & Safely issue was appalling. When asked what would of happened if we had a fire her response was simply "we cant help handles falling off". This is true but you can repair them when given plenty of notice. When I returned to the room to turn in after the wedding we found the handle still to be missing and again locked in the room. 1 star given only because no stars isn't an option and their approach to Health & Safety is none existent. We got married here in March and i cannot give this place enough praise. From the moment we viewed the venue, to the moment we left the day after our wedding, we were always looked after. Every single one of the staff were so helpful and they couldn’t do enough for us. They made our day run perfectly, so that we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. We didn’t know how the food was going to go down with the guests, as it was a set menu but we had so many people say how amazing it was. I cannot thank you enough for making our day so perfect, I wish I could do it all over again! I would recommend getting married here to anybody. We will be back to visit soon!

We got married here last weekend and I have to say incredible! I’d recommend anyone who is looking for a venue- go for this one! Not only did we get the lovely weather and did the rooms look stunning but Kathryn (the wedding coordinator) went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day. We had our wedding at The Villa on Sunday 27th May, and we are so glad we chose this venue because it was a perfect day from start to finish. Our wedding coordinator, Kathryn Dagger, went above and beyond for us and really there are no words to do this lady justice. She is incredible at what she does, along with all of the other staff who helped to make our wedding day as special as it was.

The day started off with myself and my bridesmaids getting ready in the wonderful Bridal Parlour...a spacious, luxurious, cool and calm room with everything you need to get ready for your big day. We had our wedding ceremony in The Hall, drinks reception outside in the glorious weather so people could admire the beautiful grounds whilst enjoying canapes and cocktails, and our wedding breakfast and evening reception was in The Pavillion. Everything went without a hitch and we had so many comments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food was, and how smoothly the day went. We would like to thank all of the staff at The Villa who were involved in our wedding day, it was everything we wanted and more and we would highly recommend this venue to anybody thinking of planning a wedding in the North West. The experience was completely stress free and we have really enjoyed our time planning our wedding with Kathryn and getting to know her. along the way. If only we could do it all again! What can I say! Myself an Richard had the most amazing wedding weekend here!
From the first moment we walked through the doors to checking out on the Monday morning, we were looked after like royalty.
A special thanks to Kathryn and Amber who really did ensure we had the day we really wanted. Kathryn looked after us from booking the venue, was very approachable, friendly and responsive to any little query we might have had.
Amber was fantastic at hosting our wedding even down to the small detail of helping a drunken bride put on more comfortable shoes!
The food and rooms where brilliant! Can not fault anything! Can we do it again next year?!?!

The main room has amazing white satin drapes and curtains that with the rooms lighting make a stunning visual effect. The bar was well stocked and presented. An extremely popular and well run country house hotel and restaurant on the outskirts of one of Lancashire's prettiest villages , Wrea Green. The food is wonderfully cooked by artful chefs and almost approaches but not quite the coveted title of 'gourmet'. Be side the price of a pint (£4.80), I was very pleased with my stay. The building and grounds were very beautiful and the room were very clean and tidy. The Bar menu has a lot more to offer than the Restaurant as the restaurant is A-la-carte. I went back into the Bar to get the much bigger menu.
