I'm a visitor to the area & was looking for a Repair Shop, to fix My Mobile, on Google, (which showed only 3 places in Tyne & Wear, {one in Ncle} that could fix My Samsung J5. ) So called round, to one of them, (which was this Private House), 'on spec', to try & get My Mobile fixed, but did think, I was at the Owner's House, & not the Shop, but was invited in. The Gentleman listened to My problem & used His PC, to find a possible Protective Case for My Phone, but also phoned around, to find a stockist for My broken Phone-Screen, within walking distance & at short-notice.I went there, got the Screen & was able to replace it Myself a little later & get My Phone up & running that evening.I can't praise this Surgery enough.Thank You. ☺ More...

I used this company last month and it was on a Sunday, my friends daughter had an iphone7 which required a replacement screen. I rang at 16.00hrs on the Sunday teatime to enquire about if it could be done that day & was told by Rob(company owner) that he could do it straight away if I went down as he had a replacement screen in stock & informed me it would take approximately 45mins.I arrived at his business address at 16-45 to find more about The Tech Surgery and all I can say about the business & Rob is a very,very knowledgable guy who knows everything about tech!!! Professional, fantastic service given also a 3month warranty given for the new screen he fitted, so highly recommended infact wouldn't use any other company. More...

What do you love most about your job?
I love the challenge and that no two days are the same, one day you might be designing takeaway menus for an Indian restaurant before sending them off to be printed 50.000 times and the next you could be repairing 5 iPhone screens before designing a new gaming computer for someone.
I also love learning and never stop studying new and upcoming technologies, you could say I'm a bit of a geek (ok a big geek).
What inspired you to start your own business?
I previously worked for other IT companies and became depressed with the way they used to treat customers and rip them off, I decided to start my own business and offer fair and honest prices, which often leads to me falling out with other techs on forums for being too cheap and ruining it for them.
