Very nice rooms in the outside building with modern decor and decent tv, nice bathroom but shower was poor. The food in the restaurant was good although the service was slow. Zeer mooi oud gebouw met erg veel gangen en trappen. Maar de kamers zijn goed schoon en netjes het personeel is erg attent en behulpzaam. Ok het eten in het hotel is redelijk goed het volledig Schotse ontbijt is een aanrader. Toen ik er was waren er wel wat feestjes(trouwerij) Of zo iets. Wel veel gillende meiden maar in de kamer die ik had geen overlast van gehad. Vanaf hier zit je zo in Edinburgh en ook zo in d rest van Schotland zeer mooi. Zeker en aanrader. More...

We attended a Christmas party night here for our staff night out the venue is stunning inside & out||The meal was served quickly served & presented at a very high standard. ||The staff & bar staff were amazing & very helpful also very good drink prices for a hotel,|| The act was brilliant & very entertaining!! || A very good night had by all, only one down side however is we asked the DJ after the act to play a few requests for our table|| ( not an unreasonable request I guess) he didn’t even seem interested being there or interested to what we were asking him to play which was rather disappointing as the meal & act was fantastic! ||||However we will definitely be back in the future for a meal & a few drinks with my lady’s ||||Thanks for a fantastic night More...

Lovely warm welcome on arrival, we ere staying in the block outside the main hotel and very pleasant indeed, lovely room all quite high end with fantastic view over the Forth. ||Restaurant food is really very nice although the service could do with some improvement. I was attending a Ruby Wedding... The reception hall was dressed beautifully, dance floor had small flashing lights, so effective both when dancing or just looking on! Lovely hot buffet and staff were lovely and so helpful, was having a great night and then bar ran out of Gordon's Pink Gin!! I heard that the Richmond Park Hotel had a new chef and that they were doing a Sunday roast lunch. We visited today and I sampled the roast. I had the lamb. I had a full plate of lamb, creamed potatoes. 3 roast potatoes, cauliflower with cheese sauce, carrots, broccoli and green beans topped with a huge Yorkshire pudding with gravy. It was hot and very tasty. My husband had the traditional lasagne. The chef certainly doesn’t stint on the portions. We shared the salted caramel gateau which was delicious. Overall a lovely lunch. We chose this venue for my daughter’s wedding ceremony and reception. My daughter and new son-in-law also spent their first night in the hotel’s luxurious bridal suite. The entire experience over the build up to the event and all through the weekend was nothing short of first class. The manager’s organisation and planning for the event was excellent. He and his staff went out of their way to ensure that everything went perfectly, to give my daughter the wedding day she dreamed of. I cannot praise them highly enough. From the quality of the facility, the food and the service, the friendliness, helpfulness and generosity of the management and staff, the Richmond Pak hotel proved to be the perfect wedding venue. What a lovely hotel . Was a very welcoming check in. Room was in the main hotel room number 9,. Lovely room looking into the car park which was fine . Drink in the bar before dinner which was really nice. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely great service. Breakfast in the morning was very nice also great service. ||Will definitely return. Visited here today 20/10/19 for Birthday Afternoon Tea ! What a lovely place , the setting is very nice with lovely comfortable high-backed chairs and the decor is bright and gives a very cosy ambience ! The Afternoon Tea consisted of Finger Sandwiches, Scones with jam an Cream, Strawberry Tarts, Lemon Drizzle Cake, Chocolate Cake and Coffee/Tea which the Staff were happy to top up ! The Staff themselves were very friendly and helpful and served with a smile and nothing seemed to much trouble ! Everything was freshly made and presented beautifully ! If you are near Bo’ness find this gem of a place to have Afternoon Tea or even something from their Main Menu which looked very reasonably priced !! we had a big car club event, the hotel was almost full of our friends, we were look after like lords, fantastic, the staff were wonderful , ever helpful, ever polite, chef and breakfast staff came in an hour early on both days to get our wonderful breakfasts cooked and served to order and in record time. Breakfast on Sat & Sun were excellent. Unfortunately this could not be said for Mondays breakfast! The plate was hot but the baked beans cold, I had asked for 4 poached eggs as I had the past two days but told I could have 2 at best; fine Ill have 1/2 tomato with it. When the plate was returned with warmed up beans I then cut into the one poached egg to find it had not been cooked through, The two rashes of bacon were cooked in the main but the other parts were, in my opinion, under cooked. Great location for needs. 2nd stay this year. Last visit original room was double booked, however this was rectified quickly. Staff extremely polite and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hairdryer was missing, replacement provided quickly - however the plug was located too far away from mirror. Both room and bathroom are very clean. Bathroom would benefit from a shelf or similar for toiletries whilst in shower. Food and breakfast are excellent and great value. Would recommend and stay again.
