A delightful taste of Austria I took my wife to this restaurant and we both had great meals. I opted for pigeon and rabbit cooked in a rich sauce which was delicious. The owner Werner gave us one of his home made schnapps which also was very nice and he treated us to a few funny anecdotes. It wasn't too expensive either. We really enjoyed it and will go again. Hidden away between the nick nack shops that line the road to the beach is this excellent newish restaurant and takeaway. The selling point here is good hearty food, well cooked and presented

Delicious mussels, large, flavoursome burgers and all at a very good price.
Don't be put off by the takeaway dominated entrance that does nothing to differentiate it from the area's fast food joints, as there is a decent sized dining space out the back. In general the decor and branding could do with a rethink; the branding suggests a TexMex diner and the dining area feels a bit clattery and noisy, but it's not a major issue and the good food more than makes up for it.
