Having spent the past few weeks feeling anxious and miserable at the thought of being a frumpy 5-month pregnant bride in three weeks' time (in the dress I chose before getting pregnant). ..I came across Cat. What a God send. Cat responded to my panicked email within the hour, I was with her an hour later...and by midday I had chosen a totally stunning dress, ready to be altered and picked up within 2 weeks. Wow, what a beautiful selection of the coolest gowns! I’m a busy mum working full time with not much time to shop, so did a lot of research online prior to trying on any dresses to get a good idea of what styles I liked. I wanted a top notch designer gown, but couldn’t justify paying designer prices so went hunting for designer sample dresses. After gathering many Pins and putting together a board of my favourite picks, I searched on Preloved and Stillwhite (among other sites) to see if I could grab a bargain! Most of my searches led back to the Little Bridal Boutique, a single location with at least a dozen of exactly what I wanted, I couldn’t believe my luck, and arranged an appointment to try on and was not disappointed. The small selection is unique and select, well chosen to suit an on trend designer taste. I’m not sure how many dresses there are here, just a room full, and I tried on at least six that all fit, what a percentage hit rate. The service was warm, knowledgeable and friendly and I left feeling a million dollars with a rather unusual conundrum in that there were two absolutely perfect dresses...I was given a very generous timescale to make decision, not pushed or cajoled. I had previously only one appointment at a traditional wedding dress shop and came away disappointed. They stood me on a box?! I’m not getting married on a box, any dress would look great when you’re pretending to be six feet tall! There weren’t the dresses I had seen online or in bridal magazines. You’ll find them here. TLBB is nothing short of a lovely little miracle I've had my heart set on wearing Claire Pettibone's Adagio for my wedding day, but because it's from a past season's collection, it's not in production anymore -- which makes finding one, & one in my size at that, tricky. Plus, no boutique where I live stocks Claire Pettibone -- which makes the entire endeavour near impossible! So I took to scouring the internet, hoping to find someone selling a once-worn Adagio that's still in great condition & in my size... And I found it at TLBB via an online add! The entire process was super quick & easy, but also very personal & just wonderful ❤️ I contacted Cat here on Facebook & basically had an online shopping experience with TLBB, because I'm located on the other side of the globe in sunny Singapore. Cat not only agreed to mail the dress to me; she also took plenty of helpful photos of the dress, measured it carefully, double-checked that the parcel is addressed correctly, went the extra mile to check mailing & insurance costs & details, and was super efficient in mailing it out! The dress has just arrived and it fits me like a glove! I'm over the moon with joy & giddy with excitement!
