Location is in 20min from Maidstone. Very reasonable price, cheapest I could find at short notice. Rooms are clean and we'll looked after. Nice green setting W oh that's convenient bar and food onsite. Good internet. I did get bird all over my car while parking under a tree. More...

Had a lovely afternoon tea with a glass of prosecco. Good food and plenty of it. Also as much tea/ coffee as we could drink. Friendly and attentive staff. Very nice ambience. More...

Arrived for a one night stay to happy helpful staff, who arranged a taxi for the morning. The room itself was furnished to standard and met my expectations. Thr shower was powerful and hot and the breakfast was good. Staff were helpful and attentive. More...

I came here on a Groupon deal with my partner.
We chose a 2.30 time slot. We opted for the glass of bubbly first.
Then three varieties of sandwiches, scones and chocolate cup cakes arrived. The sandwiches were egg mayonnaise, ham and mustard and tuna. I did have scrape some of the mustard off as it was too much.
I had the scones with clotted cream, no jam.
Cup cake was so fluffy.
We finished off with a strawberry gateau, which I picked around as I don't like strawberry jam /filling.
Endless pots of tea.
Great service, good value.
We sat in the conservatory.

Just had a really tasty carvery here. Delicious meat and lush Yorkshire puds. Was impressed by the value as we got a carvery and dessert for a very reasonable price. Very nice, attentive staff too. A gem! More...

Despite the average reviews, I was pleasantly impressed with the staff, breakfast and room quality. Sure, it's not the Ritz, but for a pleasant and friendly weekend break.... and comfy stay, you can't go wrong by staying here. More...

Overall seemed pretty dated decor - but the dining area was lovely, staff were excellent, freindly and attentive and the food was good quality and well portioned.

Went for afternoon tea. We were a bit concerned due to bad ratings. Found the staff to be pleasent and found the afternoon tea to be very good value for money!

Now known by its original historic name of Larkfield priory Hotel I used to come here in my younger days it was the place to be if you wanted to impress anyone, after all these years it still feels the same very friendly staff, the food and service was excelent you could not ask for more. I had a choice of bar menu or fine dining in the restrurant and in the morning continental breakfast or for a little extra full english breakfast. I would come back again if i get the chance.Tried most of the chain hotels in the area but this just leaves them standing for service. The location is ideal as its on the A20 yet set well back from the Road More...

I've found a few little gems when booking hotels for business purposes on late rooms or last minute dot com. This one, now called Hamlets Hotel (& Restaurant) is just that.Rooms are comfortable, as are the beds. If you asked me for any negative feedback ..... the TV is too small ...... nice flatscreen but very small ..... 19" at best!Food I've sampled from the bar menu is plentiful and tasty (top chips). The cooked breakfast is good too, cooked to order.Staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful.... especially the barman. The bar is very comfortable, a plethora of comfy chairs and sofas to choose from.I haven't eaten in the restaurant yet in the evenings .... the menu does look good though, and is reasonably priced.Every visit down here in Kent results in me booking this particular hotel .... definitely worth the ££££ More...
