I was recommended to give The heritage chef a go for my husbands 50th birthday celebrations , all I can say is WOW .... We had Daniel come to our home to do a birthday bbq for Us and our guests, we chose from a menu of delicious choices , meat and vegan , salads and bbq compliments .... The food was prepared off site and cooked ready to roll for our desired time . The food and service was first class , tasty , colourful and inviting not to mention plentiful .

I was so impressed I booked Daniel for a private dining experience in our kitchen , where again we chose from a menu to suit all our taste buds , Daniel prepped before coming and cooked and wowed us with wonderful food that you would only get in a top class restaurant .
The cost for this service was very affordable and worthy of every mouthful . I would Highly recommend The heritage chef to Anyone that wants to Wow and treat their guests to something very special for any occasion Daniel has it covered !!!! More...

WOW - what an amazing dinner we had last night for my husband’s milestone birthday. I cannot thank Chef Daniel enough for helping me create a dinner where the food was so very close to that we’ve enjoyed in the best of Michelin restaurants.

I was very nervous I would ruin all his hard work but Chef Daniel made the whole experience incredibly easy. I enjoy cooking but find the whole timing issue quite stressful but Chef Daniel has very cleverly created a method that means it is stress free to create at home. The quality of ingredients and food were superb.

My husband has not stopped talking about it, especially the panacotta. I don’t really enjoy panacotta and dislike rhubarb even more but I absolutely loved both - especially the rhubarb compote. The pork was moist and with the prunes it was just perfect - it was so delicious. We didn’t get to eat the trio of desserts or the cheese course as the portion sizes are very generous.

The wine pairing recommendations were superb. We don’t drink white wine often but the burgundy was stunning and cut through the crab beautifully.

All in all, it was a success in every aspect. From the moment I first made contact with Chef Daniel through to the little panic when I thought I didn’t have the jus, everything was first class, professional and very supportive. Chef Daniel understood what I wanted and delivered it perfectly.

I can highly recommend Chef Daniel - in fact - we were so impressed we’ve asked him to do a dinner for our wedding anniversary next month. More...
