This is a great business and the personal service Paul provides is second to none. He always picks up his phone if available and responds to messages promptly when he is otherwise engaged. I needed to find a reliable firm to carry out an inspection and service of a gas boiler and central heating system ahead of completing a house purchase. The Heating Expert were the first people I called based on the very strong reviews and aside from a quote that I knew to be fair the quality of the conversation with Paul was such that I knew immediately there was little to be gained by looking elsewhere. The work was carried out on time with some key issues - including the risk of serious electric shock due to previous faulty workmanship by another company - identified. This enabled us to recover the costs of the repairs necessary ahead of completion. Subsequently returned to Paul post completion to arrange for the works to be undertaken and again everything dealt with to a high standard and my complete satisfaction. Justin and Charlie replaced our condensing boiler for a combi this week – only a couple of weeks after Paul produced our quote. They worked quickly and diligently in difficult conditions (a problematic house and monsoon-type weather!). They were polite, friendly and helpful and there was no cosmetic damage to the house. Paul over-saw everything and is a pleasure to deal with – friendly, knowledgeable, always available to help out and answer questions and, importantly, does not pressurise you into anything. We feel lucky to have at last found a company who are professional and reliable and who we trust to offer us a great after sale service. I cannot reccomend these guys enough!I had to call them out when a pipe sprung a leak and when the bill came i didnt need to sit down.

Sometimes you think people will take the mic when it comes to an emergency call out but paul and his team were not only quick and efficient but they were polite and courteous. Great customer service and i will definetely be using these guys again when it comes to my future home requirements.

Our heating broke down Christmas Eve!!!... (of all days) we rang a couple of other plumbers with no joy not answering their phones already broke up for the holidays! !!....Paul on other hand answered and reassured us that as soon as he would he pop over and take a look ...which he did two days later and also repaired it (at a very reasonable charge) ,which we were very great full of as the weather started turning very cold...We would recommend "The Heating Expert" and we are hopefully going to be using Paul again with other work we having done at home in the new year.We would like to say thanks again Paul ...Tracie and Chris Cooper More...

I have just had a new boiler installed and would highly recommend Paul and his team. Having not lived in the local area for long I found Paul using a google search and used his company after being impressed with all the reviews. We had the problem of too much heating and no hot water. Paul took my call on Saturday night and we had regular communication, exchanging texts, emails and photos. After having 3 quotes for a replacement boiler, we chose Paul to do the work for two reasons: Firstly he listened carefully to what we wanted, and he carefully explained why he recommended the filter, new pump and valves. We live in a small bungalow, and the other two companies were insisting we had the new boiler in the loft (it obviously made installation much simpler), but as we are of an age where climbing up into the loft is becoming very difficult, we rejected that option. Paul was quite happy to put the boiler where WE wanted it. 

The work took just over 2 days, and was carried out by Justin and his apprentice Charlie. We couldn't believe how quickly the new boiler went in, and the new boiler came out. Justin and Charlie worked very hard, and we just kept them supplied with tea / coffee / squash. Paul came regularly, answering any questions we had, and the electricians came to connect up the relevant bits which they too did quickly. 

Justin and Charlie also replaced an ageing radiator for us, and after a magnetic flush of the system connected up the new boiler and fired it up. All worked perfectly. We now have a high efficiency boiler and radiators which have never been so hot. 

Thankyou to Paul, Justin, Charlie, and the electricians for their hard work, and the very neat installation. We can recommend them to anyone - without hesitation! More...
