Sunday Surfing
Steve is a really nice, approachable chap that clearly has a passion for what he does. I went to him after 5 months of not getting answers from doctors about my knee. The doctors said id just have to rest it and not do too much exercise on it ever again. Since meeting Steve I can now play basketball and am training for my first half marathon! Thanks Steve. More...

What do you love most about your job?
The inner ear is the most amazing and vital structure within the human body and we cannot function within our environment without it. I have a thirst for continued development and love to discover new ideas for treatment techniques. Vestibular patients are always very grateful for their return to a normal functional life and this gratitude and our high success rate make it all worthwhile.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Many years ago I was reluctantly sent on a Course on Vestibular Rehabilitation in Edinburgh. I didn't want to be there but within ten minutes of a lecture delivered by the world famous Professor Susan Herdman, I was smitten with the subject and have ever since had a burning ambition to set up a designated Dizziness and Balance Centre. I wanted to equip the Clinic with all the latest diagnostic tools and to have enough knowledge and skill to do it justice. The Centre opened in 2016 and has recently been extended to incorporate a Rehabilitation Gym.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a very good reputation with both GP's and ENT Consultants in and around the Essex area. We have a fantastic network for referring on if required and all the latest technology and experience to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Pilates
Pilates is a wonderful form of exercise that strengthens the power house, the core of your body, this in turn strengthens your back. It also has a strong mind/body connection, improves your posture and helps with balance. We hold classical mat Pilates classes here at the Centre. We hold group classes of up to six participants. We also offer one to one or two to one classes which includes an initial postural assessment with a Chartered Physiotherapist. Classes are run throughout the day and evenings.
