We visited yesterday for my 30th Birthday party and what can I say.. I cannot recommend 'Charlie and the Chesterfield' afternoon tea enough! It was the most amazing day! What better way to celebrate a special occasion, the atmosphere was magical, the food was tasty and plentiful, the staff couldn't do more for you! Really welcoming, attentive and they truly contributed to the ambience of the day. A personal fav of mine were the chocolate scones-they were scrumptious! A special thank you to Samantha Langaas who we wouldn't have been able to any of it without!
From start to finish she always went above and beyond to create such a wonderful day for us. Even managing to rope in the pastery chef to whip up 180 macaroons for our cake last minute as ours failed to arrive!
We look forward to seeing you all again soon!

My Husband and I returned to this hotel after our stay here in 2014 because we enjoyed that stay so much.
There is a truly wonderful staff here~~Elliott, Loris, Andriana, Raquel, Etienne, the afternoon tea Chef, Darren, Tony, Malvina, Leticia~~sorry if I left out any name because everyone made us feel very welcome and provided excellent service.
Thanks for the Birthday greetings (cards and cupcakes) as well as the attentiveness to my lactose intolerance problem at the afternoon tea and what a tea!
The Hotel's location is excellent, and we were able to walk to so many of our desired destinations. Our 3 day London stays both before and after a Cruise were fantastic, in no small measure, because of this very special Hotel!

Had the winter wonderland afternoon tea yesterday, was absolutely delicious, plenty of food, I was stuffed by the end of it! ! The afternoon tea at the Chesterfield is always lovely. The Christmas afternoon tea is plentiful and delicious. The decor is festive and warming and the service is excellent and staff are very friendly. This year’s Christmas tea consisted of a tipple of mulled wine to start, followed by a selection of sandwiches, cranberry and chocolate scones and some lovely themed cakes such as chestnut macaron, cranberry mousse and Christmas tree mousse. The tea menu is plentiful and the chocolate tea is delicious. What is particularly good is how they offer as many replacements of sandwiches or cakes as you like. We had afternoon tea. Lovely welcome. Service slightly slower than expected (it was not busy and plenty of staff working) so we had to hang around for the bill. Food was lovely, but I did expect more 'theming' of the food because it was pitched as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory style so I had expectations. Had a lovely afternoon tea for mothersday, i went with my husband and 2 girls. It was such lovely food and the childrens afternoon tea was more than we expected and my girls loved it.
My husband and i were very full and amazed by the food too.

I have stayed at the Chesterfield Mayfair a number of times and would not consider staying anywhere else in London. The rooms are charming, the cleanliness is outstanding, and the service is impeccable. In addition, the food and drink are excellent. The breakfast is substantial and of high quality, the bar is perfect for drinks or snacks, and the tea is indulgent. The best afternoon tea we have ever had, and we’ve done a few. The service was exceptional, the treatment was brilliant, and Lukas was an outstanding waiter. We had an absolutely lovely time, I would recommend it to everybody. Five stars. Afternoon Tea. A family party of 15 of us visited 4th March 2018 We indulged in a traditional English afternoon tea in the opulence of this most lovely Hotel.
The staff could not have been more attentive & helpful.
The menu appealed to all of us , the children particularly enjoying the milk shakes, whilst for the adults it was the scones that with cream & jam that hit the mark. Our visit was a most pleasant one & we most heartily recommend others to sample the delights of a tradition English afternoon Tea at The Chesterfield.

Outstanding!
They truly do their best to make you feel welcomed. When booking, I had mentioned it will be my wife's birthday upon our stay.
Assuming it was due to this note, we received an upgraded room and have been spoiled during our stay with a complimentary drink at check-in, inclusive breakfast and exceptional service at every encounter. She even received a birthday card with staff signatures - very cute!
Overall it's clear, we would happily come back!

Bad experience of afternoon tea (on 26th November) spoiled by untrained waiter. Waited for ages to be served. He forgot the mulled wine. Tea was cold. Instead of bringing us fresh pots the manager suggested topping up pots with hot water. Had to give up on cups of tea in end and asked for glasses of water. Waiter brought sandwiches on little plates instead of presenting whole tea and cakes on stand. No Christmas tree or decorations in tea room. Piano player left very soon after we arrived. Still got 12.5% service charge on bill despite terrible service spoiling experience.

Visited for a function that I had a part in organising and was speaking at. I really like this hotel and its public spaces. In this case the meeting space (which the hotel provided free) was a perfect size, all the AV & WIFI worked perfectly, and we had a staff member allocated for the event to manage drinks orders etc. Very slick! The room is a little small as well the bathroom but i general this is most of London city center but of course not all.

Location in Mayfair so nothing far away need just walk 5 to 7 minutes to be Oxford.. Or Bond St ot hyda Park.
Some food restaurant around the hotel.
bar very nice and almost 24 hrs lovely staff.
The reception excellent check in and out with fast way to get finished.
Breakfast english way some food in open puffy but other by menu.
I stayed y for 2 nights. Well i like the hotel and it's recommended.

My wife and myself stayed on the 4th floor in room 404. The view out the window is nothing much, but that's not why you one to The Chesterfield Mayfair, it for the internal beauty of the rooms.
