Q&As

There is nothing more satisfying that being able to help people reach their full potential and to see their confidence blossom. I see clients who are struggling to get through their daily lives due to their fears and phobias, as well as bad habits that are deep seated in their psyche. With the use of hypnotherapy and my counselling skills, I am able to eliminate these problems and in turn boost their confidence and self-esteem.

I worked for many years as a PA/Secretary/Office Manager for various London/Essex law firms and found that I was the go-to person in the firm when anyone had a personal problem. This was due to my easy going, friendly, approachable nature.

I decided to re-train as a hypnotherapist/counsellor a few years ago whilst I worked full-time for a large international law firm in the City of London and when they decided to restructure the company, I saw it as my opportunity to start my own business and do what I love full-time.

I mainly meet new clients via personal referrals, Facebook and Twitter updates and my blog on my website.

I’m a very friendly, approachable person who will put you at ease from the moment we first meet. I have had many life experiences which I can use to empathise with you. I am a very open- minded, practical woman and have spent a lifetime helping others.

There is nothing that you could say that I haven’t heard before and I don’t make any judgments – I am of the opinion that people need to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes before they have the right to judge that person. There is not much I haven’t heard, I’m totally unshockable, confidential, friendly and affordable.

I’m just here to help and want people to be happy.

We are not on this planet long, let’s make the most of the time we have.

Services

Prospective clients may have problems at work, home, school, it maybe something that has happened in the past, is current or they are worrying about the future. However, speaking to someone who is unbiased, non-judgmental and detached from the situation but who is empathetic to their problems can be very beneficial.

The old saying “A problem shared is a problem halved” has never felt truer. Just by speaking about what worries you, and having someone listen can sometimes be the catalyst to change.

For some people it is easy to catastrophise issues, thinking the worst, seeing things in a negative way, lying awake planning the disaster which may await. This may be because of past disappointments or the way they have learnt to deal with life but this negative thought process can be changed. By using various types of psychotherapy, a client can learn ways to cope with the issues that are affecting them, these tools and techniques can be used in other situations to facilitate a happier life. By giving a client the control to change the way they feel and how they response to others, also boosts confidence, self-esteem and self-worth.

I am also trained as a psychosexual therapist and can talk about aspects of sexuality and sexual health, and how it can impact on your relationships and life in general.

I am currently studying to become a couples counsellor and will be able to offer that to clients in the near future.
