The Cedars, Pullwood Bay, Family Friendly Lake District Holiday Rental

We just spent a fabulous few days at The Cedars, It was the ideal location for hanging out as a family with our adult children and exploring the Lake District together and Lois was very kind and thoughtful in accommodating us. The house was beautifully decorated and very spacious with bedrooms spread over three floors and a huge dining table which easily sat the ten of us plus a highchair. There was even a very welcome toy-box under the stairs! We found it an easy location to co-ordinate our activities from: running on the trails from Wray Castle, cycling and high ropes at Grizedale, boating at Coniston and generally exploring Ambleside, Grasmere and the local area. Our youngest son even bought a license online and whiled away a few hours fishing on the lakeside. A perfect family holiday! More...

This was our second stay at The Cedars. Jon and Lois are lovely to deal with, very accommodating and pleasant. We are a three generation family and we all LOVE coming here. The house is very spacious with everything you could possibly need. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, Netflix TV which the children loved watching in the mezzanine lounge. The house is in Pulwood Bay where the children can run freely and safely. Just a minutes walk to the Lake and a short distance to lovely Ambleside. There are lovely walks from the house with two pubs serving good food within walking distance. The children are asking when can they go again already!! We were treated to this holiday by my family on few ocassions and everytime we loved it. The kids really enjoyed the grounds and it was in a fantastic location to get into town / tourist areas. Can't wait to go again and again and again :) More...
