Matt has done a variety of projects for me over the last few years.
Most recently he suggested Karndean flooring for our entrance hall as the carpet was tricky to keep clean in such a busy area.
The variety of colours, designs and textures available were numerous but, with his advice, we chose something to complement adjoining areas.
His measuring and quoting processes were swift and efficient. We had expected a long wait but his expert fitters arrived shortly afterwards and did a wonderful job.
Our entrance hall looks smart and elegant....and it now takes just 2 minutes to clean.
Another project was to fit carpets and laminate to an entire annexe on our property. He seemed to have ranges suited to most pockets and, with his helpful advice, we chose a beautiful laminate for a very large open-plan living, dining and kitchen. He also did the bathroom flooring as well as a wool-twist carpet for the large bedroom. He did this for us seven years ago and the annexe looks as good now as it did when he first completed our project.
I have no hesitation in giving Matt a very strong recommendation to anyone wanting a reliable, professional job.

So happy with our new "Distressed Oak" Karndean flooring. We have used The Carpet Company before so knew we would receive honest advice and expert fitting.
Matt, the owner, makes choosing a floor easy because of his experience and in depth product knowledge. I had a shortlist of designs I had seen online and within 5 minutes of me entering the shop, Matt had discussed the space and style of our hall and bathroom and advised the best floor to suit our needs. I should add that the floor I went with wasn't even on my shorlist yet was completely the right choice- if only I could commission Matt as my interior designer!!
Once decided, ordering and fitting was seamless and within a tight schedule which I was so thankful for- we were having our bathroom re decorated at the same time so fitting the floor was crucial before other plumbing bits were done. Matt liased with our plumber and myself which again shows the level of customer service we received.
I highly recommend The Carpet Company (Weymouth and Poundbury- both showrooms are lovely, easy to get to and have free parking). I will continue to go back with confidence knowing I am in safe hands which is the most important part for me: something I have (unfortunately) learnt the hard way through other companies/ trades people.

We had the Carpet Company come and fit our kitchen floor, they did a great job so we got them back to carpet a bedroom. It's a tricky room with a corner bath, sink pedestal and fireplace to work around and they guy's did an amazing job. The fit is perfect.
