We went for the EWE wedding fair. A beautiful venue with very interesting architecture. We are looking to maybe have our wedding there next year.

This was my first visit to the Bond Company location, and specifically to the Waterside premises. It is within close proximity of the Bull Ring Shopping centre, but in an industrially depressed area with lots of old, empty and derelict factory and commercial buildings. The approach to the building is awe-inspiring, with its cobbled street, Victorian architecture and carefully restored steel features incorporated with touches of modernity (nice, bright lighting and large, new canopy, painted in striking white).My visit was twofold – Firstly, to attend a business presentation run by a local communications company at the venue and secondly, by chance to visit the Bond Company Café.The presentations were held in a single room, which was bright, airy, refurbished with traditional/original wooden beams and with stunning views of the canal next to it. The different parts of the building are clearly signposted and this is a great venue to hold meetings, conferences and as I have heard from the Staff, weddings too.The second part of my visit involved a short excursion to the Café, which the Staff recommended to me. Since I was rushed for time, I had a cup of tea, which was properly brewed and a piece of cake, which was delicious. Prices were reasonable and the Staff couldn't have been more courteous and friendly.I have to commend the operators of this venue for having the foresight and vision to create modern, in-demand businesses and services in this location and for revitalising and regenerating this building. Hopefully, there will be further re-development of similar sites in this area in the future. I do look forward to returning in the future for another conference or for simply ‘popping’ into the Café. We had all our wedding celebrations here yesterday, and it was an incredible day! The venue was decorated beautifully, the staff were fantastic, they organised the day and evening perfectly and even accommodated for a late start due to Christmas traffic! The catering team did a great job, the food tasted amazing and there was so much of it too! The security staff on the night were extremely friendly and approachable. We attended our sons wedding here in September 2016. It was absolutely amazing. All met up in lovely cafe - on to beautifully decorated room where service was held, then outside for photos whilst staff transformed the same room into dining area. Ate, speeches etc. Outside for a while whilst staff again transformed same room into evening disco and dance area. Magical and so amazingly different. Highly recommended. More...

We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding at The Bond on Sunday 20th August. All of our guests commented on how relaxed the atmosphere was and that was down to the hard work, dedication and friendly nature of every single member of staff who was there.

Stef was incredible ensuring that the day was organised, and did so whilst remaining calm and informing us of everything that needed to happen. She was a true professional.

When we arrived on the morning, Barbora was an amazing help - nothing was too much trouble - whether it was finding a ladder or popping balloons that had been left in the room!

I must also comment on the catering - the food tasted and looked spectacular, both at the afternoon tea and also the BBQ. Nothing was too much trouble, and it really helped make people feel relaxed. The bottle of bubbly was also well appreciated!

Finally, the bar staff were hilarious all day. They joined in, made the atmosphere positive and lively, and I can certainly say that they kept us all entertained. Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to them.

I cannot recommend The Bond enough, and that is down to the hard work of their team. All of our guests have said the same, whether it was security, catering, bar staff or those front of house - everyone had a perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. Everyone went above and beyond - it was great to have the security and bar staff help tidying away centre pieces and cake at the end of the night - it made our job so much easier.

An absolute hidden gem in Birmingham - the perfect setting for both our wedding ceremony and reception. The staff were brilliant from first interest through to the day itself, and the venue catered for pretty much any idea we threw at them (staging, canal boats, bouncy castles, choirs, shots instead of champagne for toasts, BBQs, dinosaurs! ), which made it an unforgettable event. We recently got married here and my husband and I completely fell in love with the venue as soon as we first viewed it. It’s such a intriguing place and completely different to every other wedding venue and suited us both down to a tee! We had the best day of our lives and Natasha and her team are the most loveliest people who made it what it was. The whole day ran so smoothly and Natasha has so much patience with my million emails in the run up to the big day haha. All our guests loved the BBQ also. I attended a wedding on Sunday at the Bond Company and didn't know what to expect other than it was going to be different to any other wedding I'd been to. Well.....what can I say? Not only did the sun shine for us, the venue was perfect for the lovely couple getting married here. It was quirky and fun and did not disappoint one little bit. The food was fabulous also and it was a lovely, friendly, chilled, party atmosphere all day/night. I have to mention the staff, each and every one of them. I've never been to a venue where every single member of staff was friendly, approachable and helpful, they really couldn't do enough and smiled all day making everyone feel relaxed and at ease. We had our wedding at The Bond on 8/7/18 and it truly was the best day ever!! The venue itself has character and was perfect for what we wanted. The waterside for the ceremony is beautiful, the outside courtyard space is amazing! We had an outside drinks reception, a band and had evening caterers set up outside and there was still plenty of space to party! The gatehouse is a blank canvas so is perfect for any colour scheme, it looked incredible with our decorations!
And the staff.... well they are truly lovely people and will do anything to help plan your perfect day! They are always happy to answer questions and give options for ideas. All of the staff are fab, the bar staff were brilliant with our guests and even joined us on the dance floor for a song when we saw them dancing along behind the bar!

We got married at The Bond on Saturday 4th August and it was everything we could have hoped for and more! Not only did we get pretty much free reign to decorate the venue as we wished, but the staff were incredibly lovely and helpful throughout the whole process - shoutouts in particular to Izzy, Barbora and Carl!

We also received numerous compliments on the food, which was amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better venue and bunch of people to help us make our day so special! Was even great to see them get involved with the fun and take photos with our cardboard cutout of Dave Grohl!

Soooo many awesome photo opportunities at this venue too - totally unique with a forever changing landscape. Obviously, only the coolest couples get married here ;) More...

Attended training here for work. Friendly staff, nice clean facilities and the lunch provided was just right for our needs. The coffee in the training room wasn't the best but there is a good little cafe attached. The canal running alongside adds a little quirkiness which distracts from it being in an old industrial area. Always head here whenever there's a market on, and today's was the Autumn Market. Fortunately the sun decided to come back out just as it opened. ...and I arrived ten minutes later. What an incredible venue.
The Digbeth food festival was held here on May 16th and it was fantastic.
The semi dilapidated industrial setting gave an awesome atmosphere to the already buzzing event. Highly recommend.

Price of the breakfast has increased from £4 to £6 with no real change in what is served. The tweaking of the menu, specifically for the vegetarian breakfast I would say was ill advised . Less toast is served too. I would still recommend this place , though I probably won't be going as often now as it's no longer value for money, comparable to the previous menu . I found this to be a great venue for the training i recently attended. Although there was a problem with a coffee machine prevented me from vending a hot drink (and caused some spillage in the process), the staff were excellent and very helpful. They immediately set to work fixing the machine and provided me with a free drink from the cafe while the machine was being fixed.

The cafe here is also very good, I quite liked the daily specials and the ability to pre-order my lunch.

I would be very happy to attend further training again. More...
