This place is a gem of Norfolk. From the gorgeous first par 3 to the tree lined par 5s. Everything is meticulously maintained and the staff are superb. Played 18 holes as part of a visiting golf society. Thetford GC made us all very welcome. Lovely facilities - practice area, changing room, bar & pro-shop. Greens and tees in good condition although fairways still showing the effect of the dry summer. Mainly flat course with high pine trees and mature oaks lining the fairways. In other areas, the heather and horse provide the hazard. All in all, a nice course and well worth a visit. More...

Lovely Club & people. Unfortunately having played 27 holes yesterday, in terrific heat, it was rather hard walking, due to the really firm conditions.
It was like playing a links course for most of us!
But having said that, it is a real test of Golf!!! ���

If your a visitor it's great and a great course .if a member or visitor your lucky if you can play on the weekend mornings as it's always booked out ,but Sat afternoons and Sundays are mostly free If you book a tee time .

This is one of my favourite courses. It's a long 18 hole course that is over 100 years old. One of the most beautiful and challenging courses I have played too, with narrow fairways and ball eating gorse to worry about. Highly recommended.
