Taking Stock Counselling

I am patient and empathic , with a focus on providing quality, experienced counselling and specifically trained to work face to face and in a remote (video/telephone) setting.

I work with Adults and families.

I am a registered member of the BACP(British association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work to the ethical framework. I hold professional indemnity insurance and are DBS checked.

I am a female counsellor and integratively trained with my core being Psychodynamic, this means that I am able to tailor the sessions to your needs. I have specifically worked in the area of trauma and loss for over 8 years. I have specific training in resolving trauma.

We cannot change our history, and there are some things out of our control, but we can change the way it impacts on our life in the here and now. I will offer you a confidential and empathic space so that together we can look at ways of understanding your situation and choosing how you would like to move forward. You are the focus of the sessions, you are in control.
