Ryan Smith is a great coach and influence for children. Columbia Panthers are a family--not just a team. Kids are made to feel welcome and everyone is worked with. I have known Anne Kampfe Sievers for several years now. Anne ALWAYS responds to texts, calls, emails. Anne and Heather's SAFT training for kids does amazing things for their self esteem--my athlete has learned that hard work and dedication does pay off!! I can't say enough about these coaches. My son was really hesitant to play soccer, but after playing at recess all spring, he told me he wanted to join a team.
Synergy is the exact right place for him (and for his more experienced peers).
The coaches know all the kids' names. They make sure all kids get equal playing time at all the positions. They strike the perfect balance between letting them play and stopping the game to help them reset in the right place encouraging both fun and skill-building.

By far the best Birthday experience we have ever encountered. We arrived early (45 minutes) to setup and one of the coaches took my son to play some basketball while he waited for his friends. He even entertained my 3 yo daughter for a bit. As soon as the kids arrived, the 2 coaches did everything and were absolutely amazing with the kids. They weren't kidding when they said they would handle the entire party. From setup, playing with the kids during the nerf gun war, serving pizza, to clean up. They did it ALL (even made sure the kids washed their hands before and after lunch)!! My husband and I were blown away with how interactive they were. We can't say enough GOOD things about our experience! Thanks for making sure my son and his friends and a blast!! More...
