Home Care
Home care (also known as domiciliary care) provides a wide range of services to help individuals who choose to remain living in their own home, safely and securely as possible. By choosing to receive a service/s from SureCare, will greatly reduce the need to move into a retirement complex or care home.
Our care workers can offer an extensive range of home care services, including:
- Assistance in or out of bed in the morning or evening
- Washing, bathing and showering
- Getting dressed or undressed
- Support with household chores
- Help with eating and drinking
- Support with any necessary medication
- Providing friendly company for those living alone
- Assistance where disabilities may hinder people doing certain tasks
Our home care services are available to anyone in their own homes – from the older person or those with complex care needs. We also know that no two situations are exactly the same, so we tailor our care and support services to specifically suit you.
SureCare is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and all of our care workers and care staff are subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
Live-in Care

Live-in care allows you to live independently in the comfort of your own home, while being professionally looked after by a full-time live-in carer.
Given the choice, 97% of people say they would prefer to continue living in their own home rather than move into a care home. Live-in care allows you to do this.
We will endeavour to find the right live-in carer for you; someone who is able to provide you with the round-the-clock support and companionship that you require.
Whether you need live-in care full-time or as a means of allowing a family member to take a holiday, we can meet your individual needs. Sometimes, we are asked to provide a live-in care service for an agreed period of time while someone recuperates at home after leaving hospital.

Home Services
At SureCare, we like to go above and beyond to set our service apart from other care providers. One of the most exciting aspects of SureCare is our diverse range of Home Services.
Home Services allow our care workers to cover various household tasks that some individuals may struggle with. Our services are tailored to you and your situation, so you can rely on us for as much or as little as necessary, with tasks including:
- Handyman Services
- Gardening
- Laundry collection
- Housekeeping
- Cooking
- Cleaning and ironing
- Washing up
- General household maintenance
Our development of Home Services came about after taking on board feedback from clients and their friends and families. Since then, we’ve been happy to provide assistance for a variety of tasks to help with differing living situations. From the older person continuing their independent living, to busy parents trying to maintain a healthy work/life balance, we’ve got you covered.
We also encourage all our customers to come to us with any suggestions or other feedback on services we can help with. We’re happy to listen to you about your specific needs and we’ll do our best to support you however we can.
Respite and Holiday Care
We know just how difficult it can be caring for somebody. Depending on the level of care needed, even the most basic daily tasks can be incredibly tough. For hard-working full-time carers, sometimes a short break or a holiday is just what they need to recharge their batteries.
For regular carers, taking some time for themselves might even seem unthinkable. However, our Respite and Holiday Care service can provide flexible care workers, who are capable of fulfilling all of those regular care duties in their absence.
Our care workers can provide various respite services, including:
- Management of all care needs
- 24 hour complex care support
- Providing individuals living alone with friendly company
Each of our holiday and respite care packages is tailored for the individual. This way, we put your mind at ease that the right care is provided during the regular carer’s time off, no matter how long or short that may be.
At SureCare, it’s our aim to make sure everybody’s well-being is looked after, from loved ones requiring daily support to families in need of a holiday, short break, or even just a day off.
Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care
At SureCare, we’re committed to improving the lives of people affected by dementia and associated conditions. Our care workers are specially trained to provide high quality care to those suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, while providing a safe, stimulating and social environment.
Across our network we understand just how difficult it can be caring for someone with dementia. That’s why we’re extremely proud that our unique approach has resulted in SureCare Preston receiving the Dementia Initiative Award, in which our services were praised for:
“innovative approaches in providing gold-star care, the recipients have surpassed the Prime Minister’s Challenge on Dementia by continually striving to improve standards in the care sector.”
Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia already affect 1 in 14 people over the age of 65, and cases are rising on a global scale. We know it can be a worry making sure your loved one receives the right care and attention they need, especially for what can feel like an isolating illness.

Childcare
For a lot of parents, particularly with younger children, it can be a struggle maintaining the balance between work and home life. At SureCare, we offer flexible wraparound care to families, adapting our childcare services to each individual scenario.
Our team consists of working mums and childcare specialists, all of whom fully understand the challenges mums and dads face daily. We can provide care for a range of child-minding situations, whether at home or out and about, including:
- Home babysitting for families
- Babysitting for families in hotel rooms when attending events away from home
- Mobile crèche facilities at shopping centres, weddings, conferences, parties and other related events
- Crèche facilities to gyms, so members can focus on their health and fitness routines
- Ad-hoc child care
We recognise that different children may have specific, individual needs and we welcome any suggestions for other services we can provide. It’s our aim to be as flexible as possible to put you first.
