Mum and I recently went on the retreat Julia ran in Spain, and it was a great mix of yoga, hiking, relaxation and fun. The yoga was for all levels and Julia offered lots of alternative poses for the less flexible amongst us. Great for all ages and experience and the location was simply amazing. Thanks Julia, I can now touch my toes ha ha. Vicky and Joy xx More...

I was pleased to find a proper yoga studio in Ipswich that has such a good atmosphere. This is largely due to the founder, Frances Summerfield, and her team of instructors. I can thoroughly recommend trying a class or two. More...

I never thought I would get into yoga but am loving it here. The studio is bright and peaceful and the teacher is brilliant. Having broken my wrist 2 years ago there are some exercises that I can't do but she finds me alternative ways of doing those moves. I always come away feeling peaceful, refreshed and on my way to having a toned body again! Thank you. More...

Today my husband and I did the beginners yoga workshop with Frances. It was really good and really did feel I was taller with my muscles having a good stretch and left far more relaxed. My hubby really enjoyed it too despite his initial reservations. Looking forward to another class soon. Think we have found something we can both enjoy that will bring both physical and mental benefit to our lives. Thanks Frances for making us feel so welcomed explaining the yoga moves and helping our stiff bodies to cooperate , the healthy snacks were divine. Christine & Len More...

My first class was yesterday (sun 30th April) was so anxious not knowing anyone, just moved to Ipswich too. Kurt took the class, made me feel very welcome, loved the touch being offered a herbal tea!
There was just 7 of us however i found this added personal touch. Session took me out of my head of running thoughts and anxiety to present in the room. stretches were not rushed. i'm glad too as the poses push me and i needed good control not to fall. Lovely relaxation. I came home & booked 4 different classes as soon as i got home to experience as much as their have to offer & i can make.

A great place for yoga with an intimate space, small classes with a variety of styles and some excellent teachers. I also like the easy booking system and range of payment options - you can sign up for a once off or book a series of classes into the future to ensure a place. Warmly recommended, whether you a beginner or seasoned yogi bear :) More...

I regularly attend the 6am ‘early bird’ yoga class with Julia. It can be difficult on a dark and cold morning to get out of bed and attend but it is worth it! It is a brilliant and varied class that really sets you up for the day. I leave the class feeling energised and motivated. This class is suitable for everyone, all ages and abilities. Julia is a wonderful teacher and the class is relaxed and fun. Try it.... More...

The class was great and Amy the teacher was patient with a group of beginners. The down side was the room was too small, not enough space between the mats (12+ adults) and the ceiling was too low to allow taller people to stretch up fully. Also the sloping floor made it difficult to balance. More...

I have just completed the 6 weeks beginners course and attended the Cyclic Meditation: asana, pranayama and deep relaxation Masterclass and I can honestly say they are both fantastic. I have put off trying yoga properly for years but it’s the best thing I have done for a long time and the classes and teaching by Julia are brilliant. I would truly recommend Suffolk Yoga More...

I visit Ipswich to see family and during this visit and the one last year I got a weeks yoga pass each time. I tried to go to as many classes as I could to try out all the different styles and I must say that I absolutely love this place and could not recommend it more to others. It has made me fall in love with yoga, the instructors are fantastic and there is a real sense of community. Whatever style of yoga you’re looking for you will find lots of classes to suit you as there is such a variety in the styles they teach. I would recommend getting a pass and giving all the classes a try as I surprised myself at how much I was willing to push my boundaries. I wish it was closer to where I live so I didn’t just have yoga holidays at the studio. More...
