Fabulous country farm by lovely family. When I was there the place was spotless and well maintained. Morning breakfast was a delight made by one of Jaime Oilver's chef. If you give him notice dinner or lunch can be arranged. You can literally hear yourself think..it's that peaceful. More...

Visited for a bread making course which took all day. Even though I'm quite an experienced baker I still learnt loads more, and had great fun in the process. Ian is a fabulous host, calm and funny, and of course very knowledgeable about bread! The location is sublime, a very peaceful Devon valley tucked away up near Exmoor. The converted barn we cooked in felt a little like an overgrown family kitchen, decked out with odd bits and pieces, but also with a great range of cooking paraphernalia. I didn't stay the night, so can't vouche for the accommodation, but if my experience as a day guest is anything to go by it'll be a trip to trerish. More...
