Stone Monkey has always had very friendly staff in the time I've been going there - with some really good home-made cakes. The atmosphere is relaxed, it feels quite rustic inside with some of the seating being on wooden benches and overall it feels very chilled out - perhaps because it's also used as a yoga studio. This is a hidden gem of Leamington Spa.
The legendary chefs Simon & Caroline Guerney (of https://mightyroar.co.uk) have brought top-end quality food to the flourishing yoga community which thrives within the deceptively modest appearance of the Stone Monkey.

5 star hygiene rating.

If a quality certificate for food raw materials existed the Stone Monkey would also get 5 out of 5 stars.

Digby's classes are a real treat if you are serious about yoga - challenging and fun! One of the best classes I've taken in ages. I'd suggest check which class is right for you as might not be suitable for beginners. More...

Having been to the cafe a few times and really enjoyed the fresh, tasty veggie food (I'm not a vegetarian myself) and cakes, I thought I'd give the yoga a go. I'd been to a few yoga classes before and enjoyed the physical side but was less taken with all of the 'chat' and chanting. Digby's approach, however, is very practical and his instructions very precise. I really enjoyed the style of yoga which was Ashtanga, as it involved a lot of movement. I'll be going back! More...
