My partner and myself stayed here yesterday with the spa and bliss package. We thought it was beautiful, surroundings and settings were perfect, afternoon tea was delicious and we finished it off with a lovely massage before going home this morning. Enjoyed a spa day with afternoon tea. Spa treatments were lovely, special mention to Annabelle whom gave me a lovely facial and then a hot stone massage, very relaxing �
We had afternoon tea booked for 2 o'clock, was given juice and then our food. A little disappointed to see that it was all white bread.
We had to then ask for our tea, then ask again for water.
A few little tweaks are needed to make it the 5 stars it deserves.

I won a spa day here, and i must say it was fantastic i took my mum along as we have both been seriously stressed recently, and we got 2 treatments done, one of which was the rasul mud therapy which i would recomend to everyone, the staff were lovely the food was amazing and the range of treatments are amazing! Olly and I had a simply marvellous time at the hotel for our anniversary.
Not only was the massage treatments we had wonderful and relaxing our meal was out of this world to.
When I arrived I mentioned my cow’s milk intolerance the receptionist said she’d make a note.
Later when we had dinner the waiter had that all written down and went through what I could have, he’d even made notes on the menu, he made us feel like royalty and the food was so good I actually ate a three course meal in its entirety (that’s only happened once before)
The hotel room was huge, lovely big bathroom. Clean and bright and warm. Nice powerful easy to use shower to. Massively huge bed to and very comfy.
We both highly recommend the Stoke by Nayland Hotel

My wife and I had a very rare lunch date here and enjoyed one if their afternoon teas. They were able to offer a gluten free option and provided a really good selection of sandwiches cakes and treats. I got married here in November and it was absolutely perfect. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and made all of our party (and a lot of people stayed for the weekend! ) feel so special and welcomed. The bridal suite is beautiful with lots of room for getting ready and a gorgeous view over the golf course. The function suites are also absolutely lovely - roomy, well maintained and they flow really well with ample space for everything you need. The food was absolutely top notch - our wedding breakfast was delicious and the evening buffet was amazing too - no curly sandwiches here! We used the wedding golf cart to escape to the lake for photos and it was so much fun!! I couldn’t recommend this venue more highly, it really was everything we wanted and more. We can’t wait to come back for another stay (seeing as we can’t do the big day again, that’ll have to do!) More...

My friend and I have returned today from a relaxing break at your spa hotel.
The staff were helpful, room and spa facilities clean, food was excellent with amazing views.
A couple of issues we encountered, were speedily resolved with a professional and friendly manner by Bec’s and Tabitha, who were both lovely.

Fantastic place to relax and chill with wonderful views across the countryside, spacious lounges and restaurants, with consistently friendly and obliging staff.
The medana buffet is a lovely Mediterranean buffet , peaceful and great views.
We had Sunday lunch yesterday which was tasty, but the waiting time from ordering to having each course was very slow , even though there were plenty of staff.
I must add that, the hot plates were SO hot that the veg was dried out, the carrots were actually burnt so were the mange tout, the temp was well over 75 deg, which needs attention, nice fresh colourful veg should be expected.
I will continue to visit though as this is my place to relax and enjoy good food in beautiful surroundings

We booked in for the 'Winter warmer.' A most wonderful and luxurious break! We booked in at 2pm had full use of Spa added an extra back massage to our break.
Tea in room with scenic view over lake and golf course. Pre dinner drinks in bar with roaring wood fire in centre. Feeling so relaxed now! In time off to our dinner table. Served a most intriguing and delicious meal. Salmon cured in TEA! Steaks and l even followed up with bread and butter pudding with blue cheese and vanilla ice cream! So unusual yet tasty!
Then to bed as exhausted doing hardly anything! The staff all amazingly kind, friendly and so professionally good. This has to be good for everyone. Breakfast was truly wonderful and again lovely staff. My mouth is watering as l recall our treat. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be coming back! Thank you all.

Absolutely top drawer. My cousin and I played the Constable on a busy day after some horrid Feb/Mar weather. The course has fared well, laid out beautiful in a peaceful and tranquil location. All elements of the course were great.the welcome we received was wonderful, very informative and clear. Off the course the breakfast was superb and of great quality. Good choice of beer in the 19th. A really lovely night. Dinner in restaurant was excellent and beds really comfortable. Then breakfast was lovely. All in all would well recommend. We stayed in the disabled room. Was lovely to have a bed we could actually get on and was not high up. And the shower chair was not the best I have ever seen. More...

Me and my boyfriend had the winter warmer spa day with the mud chamber. I have to say the spa facilities are lovely., I have been to many spas and I throughly enjoyed my time at Stoke by Nayland.
The mud chamber made me skin feel like silk afterwards and I felt totally relaxed. The afternoon tea was also very tasty although I was a little disappointed about the cake choices as neither of us liked those flavours but we decided to take them away and give them to our family which was nice. My only criticism is the staff in the cafe are rather slow and took a while to serve food Ect (had to ask twice for a box to take the cakes away in even though they wasn't very busy) .
Please just be aware that the therapists hanging around at reception chatting doesn't look to proffesonal either, better to save the private chats for lunchtime. Although overall it was a lovely relaxing day.

Had prosecco afternoon tea followed by a rasul mud treatment which was really very nice. Came away lovely soft nourished skin. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. The guys had ploughams which had loads of cheese and meats good value for money. The golf course was not a good as they expected it was in need of some tlc, which us a shame considering the spa was great. Would recommend and go again. The 4 stars reflect the golf and spa, it would be 5 if just on the spa experience. More...

Had an absolutely amazing stay! We got there early and had lunch in the lounge bar before my husband went up to the driving range and we had the open sandwiches so yummy, used the spa after we checked in and had back massages as well so relaxing! We also had a dinner bed and breakfast deal so dinner was in the lakes and boy it didn’t disappoint the staff where attentive and the food was delicious! Drinks in the bar afterwards where lovely and again the bar staff where so nice and friendly! Breakfast was really lovely with plenty of choice! All in all a wonderful stay for our wedding anniversary can’t praise the staff and setting enough! Looking forward to next time we stay! 5 years ago we had our wedding here and couldn't fault your hotel and staff at all. Yesterday my little sister Nadine and Jordan had their wedding reception at your hotel. Where do i begin from the reception, bar staff, domestic staff you went above and beyond. Josh you are an absoulte credit to stoke by nayland hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for you. You were extremly attentive and helpful, even helping my sister in her wheel chair. You made sure everything ran smoothly. Stoke by nayland hotel dont ever let this man go hes a keeper.
