I was lucky to win a raffle prize from Stock Gardens at the Stock Christmas market. I won a half day garden make over. I would like to thank them for the fantastic job they had done. The two young lads worked very hard from start to finish and both were very polite and courteous. I would most definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. We commissioned Stock Gardens to design and build our garden project, including hard landscaping, planting borders and replacing the lawn. Ultimately this was a 5 week project with some technically challenging aspects and we could not be happier with the results. The landscaping team responsible for the patios, paths, retaining walls and joinery were professional and very hard-working. They dealt with unforeseen problems with the site, unfazed by these they provided recommendations as well as solutions that were not part of the original brief. They made suggestions that enhanced our designs and were perfectionists to the point of re-doing elements of the build if the felt they could be improved upon. Through Stock Gardens we were able to commission lighting and electrics, which were incorporated into the hard landscaping. These were managed as part of the build and completed to an equally high standard.Finally, the planting and borders were added after consultation with us. Stock Gardens were able to advise on ornamental trees, grasses and shrubs to fit with the colour scheme and soil type. These were planted around an irrigation system that was discreetly incorporated into garden.Stock Garden’s “Exceeding your expectations” was absolutely true in our case. I went with Stock Gardens as they were recommended to me and am very glad that I did. I had a team of 2 turn up for a whole day to replant my garden which had become a complete mess due to neglect. The team were hardworking, polite and very professional. They kept things very tidy as they worked and cleaned up at the end of the job so well that you would have never known they had been which was amazing as they had to work in a mess of mud. Stock Gardens Ltd were prompt, regardless of the weather. They worked relentlessly through hail, ice, heavy rain and snow. It was a five week project but you were self contained regarding loo / drinks etc. We liked your input on our original plans. We liked the quality of your work and materials. When plans had to be changed you explained the reasons clearly. You knew building as well as horticulture and we felt that you wanted what was best for our plants and garden long term. Everyone involved was pleasant to have around and we are delighted with our new garden. It's much better than we had invisaged. Stock Gardens Ltd wasn't a cheap option, but was the right option. It was money well spent. We appreciate the work put in by the whole team. You went over and above and beyond the call of duty. More...
