Steve is an amazing photographer, and captured the little beautiful details the average person doesn’t think of. During our photos session, he put me in just the right lighting near this picturesque window, and had me try different poses, facial expressions and angles. Couldn't have asked for a nicer, more helpful person on our wedding day! Steve was proactive and engaged from the moment we showed an interest in his photography, and that continued right through and after the day itself. We had very little idea of what we actually wanted and Steve was patient and forthcoming with ideas and suggestions. On the day itself, Steve was amazing at breaking the ice with our guests, some of whom were notoriously camera shy! He guided us through the day and caught all of the little moments that we barely even noticed happening on a day that can be a whirlwind. And most importantly, the end result, was superb. Everything we had asked for - sharp, clear, vibrant images, mostly natural but with some specific locations in mind in beautiful Bath, which Steve knows well. Steve was an essential and brilliant photographer for our wedding! He kept in touch with us in the months leading up to the wedding, taking the time to know me and my husband, and making us feel like the most important people he was looking after! He also kindly changed the engagement shoot to a newborn shoot when I felt too unwell from a pregnancy perspective for the engagement shoot! On the day of the wedding, Steve was directive, polite, artistic, funny and completely fit in with our family and friends! He captured the important moments with posed and natural photos, and the group shots I had requested prior to the wedding. We had amazing fun with smoke bombs which were entirely Steve’s idea! Post wedding, Steve has kept us up to date with his progress with editing our photos, giving us a sneak peek before all the photos were ready and preparing a photo book for us. I would recommend Steve to everyone. I had a lot of quotes similar on bid vine, but many of the others were pushy and just wanted my money, Steve was different and took things at our pace. From the first initial chat, and all the covid updates all the way through to the big day and following on from this Steve was amazing. On the day he was more like a guest and mingled with everyone rather than being the intrusive photographer and was great with everyone young and old. He was invited to sit down and eat a meal with us and was very respectful, joining in the toasts and listening to the speech. We have now had our photographs and they are second to none, we couldnt have asked for better. Truely Brilliant. If your looking at others on bidvine, please have a chat to Steve before you make your final decision.
