I can't recommend stay kool enough I had brought a car and not tried the air con until a few weeks later and lo and behold it was not cold so I was on Facebook and saw an advert for stay kool so I booked it in and had it checked and filled all was good and now the Air con is great. Brilliant and informative appointment, while you wait service, and, full explanation of the system and advice on operation/maintenance of the system ( don't just switch off and forget about it until the next sunny day hoping it will burst into life. lol)

Had two other garages try and diagnose the problem with my air-con. Mark traced it to the Condenser on first visit (£15). Replaced and returned to Mark for the re-gas and service (£29 plus the gas) . Now all cold. Perfect efficient service just as promised. Thanks Mark, recommended. More...

I initially took my VW T4 to the Kwik-Fit centre in Derby to get my air con re-gassed....never again!
The guy (who could barely walk without tripping over his shoe laces I might add) hooked it up for over 40 minutes and then said they couldn't do it as there was a leak somewhere and suggested I take it to Parkway. He also admitted they didn't even have a proper air con technician to do the job anyway.....

Having looked online for somewhere else to sort the air con out, I came across Staykool and having read the reviews I took a chance and made an appointment.

We arrived at Marks this morning and were greeted with a friendly smile....this goes a long way in my book. After we explained about the whole Kwik-Fit issue Mark shook his head in disbelief with a face that said 'yep i've that before'. Anyway he hooked my T4 up to his equipment and was horrified to see that they had over filled the gas way above the recommend amount as shown on the sticker under the bonnet!

Mark talked us through the process and explained every step of what he was doing and why. He very professionally rectified Kwik-Fit's mistake. The system was de-gassed, vacuumed and re-gassed. We also had the UV dye and an anti-bacterial treatment done...all within a matter of minutes

Mark certainly knows his stuff and is very knowledgeable, he answered all of our questions. We were also given the number of a guy who can help to fix our cooling fans as they are not working. The air con it's self is a thousand times better than it was before and its even better to know that the gas is at a safe amount, especially with the cooling fans are not working. On that note Mark explained that we can still use the air con but only when we are travelling at speed as the engine will pull in the outside air to keep it cool (just in case anyone reading this wondered).

I am very grateful to Mark, with a long journey to Devon planned soon, and too much gas in the air con and no cooling fans, it could have been a very dangerous journey for us and our children.

If your air con isn't working as it should and you want someone who knows what they are doing to sort it, Mark is your man! oh and his prices are just as fab as his service. Thank you so much Mark

My decision to go with Stay kool, was primarily their excellent site with everything explained so precisely and clearly with all likely costs. Their online appointment service was so easy and precise, with subsequent reminders as text and email. On arrival to the premises, it was clearly apparent that this is a professional business. everywhere tidy and clean, his van, tools, property, and that tells a lot about someone. This has been like magic! I've known for a couple of years that my air-con needed boosting but put it off. What an idiot! Staykool were great . I turned up at the neat private house to find a very friendly and professional service. Within 20 minutes I was back on the road with the minimum of fuss and a wonderfully cold car once more. I thought I had better check the Air Con on the 13 year old car that I had bought.
I did a Google search for Car Air Con Service, and several popped up. I selected Stay Kool, as they had some good reviews.

Well... I was not disappointed.

The website is easy to use, and easy to book an appointment on.
I received an email and text to inform me where I needed to go, and what to do when I arrived there.
Mark is friendly and efficient, and the service went through without any problems.
Just a small payment, and I know that my car is ready for the summer.

I will be back again, in a few years time, and I recommend Stay Kool to anyone who is thinking of getting the Air Con in the car serviced.
